Nowhere near as good as other Premier Inns which is why this one is cheaper. Here, the WiFi is poor and keeps on dropping out and the room was cold as the heating kept on turning itself off. Also, they had no decaffeinated coffee when I was there. I tried to call reception several times but they didn't answer the phone so I went to reception and they were no help at all. Disappointing.

I stayed at this hotel for a business meeting and an overnight stop and I was genuinely impressed. The staff were excellent and made the whole experience feel easy and stress free. I want to mention Mimi in particular. She helped me with a delicate situation and handled everything with so much care and professionalism that I felt fully supported. The room was clean, comfortable and ideal for getting some work done before my meeting. The meeting space had everything I needed and the team were always available to assist. It is the kind of place where you feel looked after throughout your stay. I would happily return and I fully recommend this hotel for both business and leisure.

Had a lovely stay at Premier Inn South Mimms! The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the location is convenient with easy access to the motorway. Definitely one of the better Premier Inns I’ve stayed at highly recommend!

Stayed two nights on business and used one of their meeting rooms for the two days. The meeting room was to a good standard, clean and air conditioned even with the projector being dated compared to having a large TV, but a lack of communication from reception staff meant I didn't know that I shouldn't have paid for parking when you hire a meeting room - £27 wasted. Also the coffee machine was 'out of order', the thermos flask in its place had tepid water and no one looked in to see if we needed anything during the whole 2 days we were there.

Wasn’t expecting greatness but was pleasantly surprised. Found somewhere to get a haircut right next to the hotel (Hair Bus). And there’s a nice country park around the back so you can properly switch off from driving. Finally the service area is only a short walk away (or the scenic long way around via the same country park) if you want something fancier than the truck stop supermarket next door. Food in the hotel is okay in the evening, and the breakfast buffet excellent as that’s what Premier Inn is known for. Friendly service. BE WARNED: Don’t get your luggage out of the car until you know what room you’re in as some rooms are not step-free from reception, but step-free access is available from the rear car park entrance instead.

Plenty of parking, especially disability parking, the parking was cheap compared to most hotels. Staff were friendly, breakfast was very good, plenty of food and no waiting for the chef to do more, kept topping up regularly. Main meals were quite good quality but not a lot of food on the plate. We went to The Old Guinea pub for a meal not far from the hotel and the price was the same but there was more food on the plate and good quality, also more variety of food. I would definitely recommend a visit there, you may need to book a table though as its popular. The hotel itself is next to the motorway services which we found to be ideal. We couldn't hear any road noise from our room so we all slept well. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Next time we come down to this part of London we will be staying here. All in all I personally would recommend the hotel as a really good base for travelling into London, with excellent access to the M1 and M25 motorway.

We usually book this place to for work meetings. And breakfast couple of times a year. Parking no issues Meeting rooms practical. Tea and coffee machines decent. My issue is breakfast buffet menu needs to consider vegan/vegetarian options it’s 2022 not 2015. Update the menu already!

Easy access from the motorway, and very affordable room rates. Rooms were comfortable, well maintained and clean. Only minor complaint was we only got a single bath towel for a double room, but likely just minor oversight - the others in our party had plenty in their room. Breakfast plentiful and good quality. The staff were lovely!
