The rooms are nice and large, with a confortable king size bed. All people are nice and are taking care of you. I was on the main floor, just behind the desk and I didn't hear anything. Food at restaurant was really good (trust me as I'm French ;)), I took rumsteak rare and it was bloody as I like it. And the location is very convenient, in front of the train station, if you miss it, that means it's was by purpose.

My favorite stay in London thus far. The room, the amenities, the breakfast options, the staff, the bed, everything was awesome! The room was huge, loved the bedding and bathroom amenties, the delightful shortbread cookies awaiting for me in my room, tv, and the hot water kettle & nepresso machine made coming back from a long day in London more relaxing and comfortable. I loved the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap. It's so worth the price .Definitely recommend this hotel to stay in while in London. I also loved the fact that it was right above its own pub ( could not hear a thing from my room). I had dinner there the first night and the food was amazing. I also had breakfast included with my room, the food was delicious. I travelled there solo, felt safe the entire time, it's RIGHT in front of the train station ( never heard the train in the hotel or in my room), and its around the corner from Waitrose. Yes it isn't in central london but since it was right in front of the train station, it wasn't an issue for me. Take note, there are no elevators, only stairs. I've stayed in various other hotels in central London and this place totally outshines them all in every category.

Beautiful hotel and amazing location, I’d definitely stay again. The rooms were very comfortable and perfect little sanctuary from busy days exploring London. We hadn’t booked breakfast, but we arrived at 10am on our 1st day, and as we’d been travel since 4am we needed food and were told breakfast was still being served. However, our pouched eggs took 40min to come and were cold. Apart from this, everything else in the hotel was great and due to the great location, there was plenty of other options for food nearby. The hotel decor was beautiful, and the bar had a lovely Christmassy feel. Our stay was at a reasonable price, beds were comfortable and shower was brilliant.

Gorgeous, spacious, quiet and comfortable room and lovely pub. The only suggestions I'd make are putting better lighting near either of the mirrors in the room, as applying make up was a little difficult without decent light. Also putting a few more plant milk sachets as they are so small and two for two guests wasn't sufficient. Everything else was smashing and I would highly recommend.

A Perfect Stay – Warm Hospitality and Delicious Dining!!! My daughter and I had a truly wonderful stay at The Alma Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel instantly at ease. We stayed in Room 24 on the top floor, which felt more like a suite; spacious, beautifully appointed and perfect for a relaxing break. Dinner was delicious, with plenty of choice and consistently excellent service. But breakfast was the real highlight: a stunning spread of fresh fruit, generous cooked options, and a calm, inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be better, convenient yet peaceful. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great food, and genuine hospitality.
