We are staying at the Premier Inn and what can I say. First of all, my compliments for Teresa. She works in the restaurant, she is so lovely, friendly and makes us feel welcome. The breakfast is delicious and there is also a veggie option, Teresa can make it happen! There is also Alex who helped us with our room the first day. That was our first impression. The room is also clean, we have fresh towels every day and the location is perfect. With a 5 min walk to the station (East Croydon), we are able to visit all the best places in London! We are having a blast here.

Our stay at the Premier Inn Croydon was overall very pleasant. The rooms were clean for the most part and well maintained. One small downside was that there is no automatic daily room cleaning—you have to inform the reception if you need it. I would especially like to mention Fahad at the reception. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. Even though there was no automatic housekeeping service, he made sure we had everything we needed and provided excellent service. Thanks to him, the service was truly top-notch. Overall, a good stay with a small area for improvement, but outstanding service from Fahad.

Room was spotless but the public areas were not. Messy corridors and lift, broken glass just outside hotel. Lift button held on with tin foil and sellotape. Self check in was a ticket from the machine with 2 inch high font of my room number visible from the bar. Poor security for a lone traveller I feel. Good value stay though, spacious comfy room

Rashmi, the Duty Manager, has consistently provided outstanding service every time I’ve stayed at this Premier Inn. This isn’t the first time she has attended to me, and each experience with her has been nothing short of excellent. The very first time I came here, the lift wasn’t working and I had very heavy luggage. I was stressed, but Rashmi handled the situation with so much patience, kindness, and calmness. She reassured me, made me feel completely at ease, and even arranged a room closer so that it wouldn’t be difficult or tiring for me. That thoughtful gesture has stayed with me. Since then, every time I’ve returned, Rashmi has always shown the same level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness. She remembers guests, she listens, and she truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is comfortable. People like Rashmi are the reason guests return. She is an absolute credit to the hotel, and I’m truly grateful for all her help.

First and Definitely Last Stay — A Complete Disaster of a Hotel If I could give Premier Inn zero stars, I would. This place was a disaster from the moment I walked through the door. The lift was broken — not just recently, but already broken before my stay, as I learned from other guests who’d been suffering through it longer. No warning, no apology, no alternative. Just a shrug. The room? Equally disappointing. The sink wouldn’t even drain properly, leaving dirty water sitting there like some kind of health hazard. But good luck finding anyone to report it to. There was no receptionist in sight — not during check-in, not during check-out, not at any point in between. Instead, I was forced to speak to a so-called “virtual assistant” on the phone, which was absolutely useless and incapable of handling even basic inquiries. And when I did finally find staff? Rude. Ignored me for 10 minutes straight as if guests were nothing but an inconvenience. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to cover it. This was my first and last stay at this hotel from hell. Premier Inn should be embarrassed to put their name on a property run this poorly. Avoid at all costs. :( Go to Travelodge or Leonardo Hotel. It is on the same road. Travelodge is far better and cheaper. Provides high quality service. Spend your money wisely folks.

I had a pleasant stay in a spacious, clean, inviting twin room I was sharing with my son for 7 nights. We had the best sleep on our very comfortable beds! The staff were friendly, attentive and really did their best to honour prompt customer service. We were pleased with the extensive selection on offer for breakfast every morning. The hotel location made it extremely easy & convenient to commute to anywhere too.

Had a great stay here for 2 nights while visiting some friends in London! Staff was very kind and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable. Only downsides I can note down was that the toilet water reservoir took a long awhile to fill up so you had to wait between flushes and the showerhead was attached to the wall which made rinsing off difficult. Beds were comfy and the kettle was the cleanest I've seen in any hotel yet. Will recommend this place to my friends and gladly would stay there again in the future!

This place was where I had one of the best night sleeps I've ever had in a hotel. after a long and tiring day of traveling, this hotel made up for it. The room was spacious and the view wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (I could see the hotel I went to last year) The breakfast was great as well. The image below is the view from room 215 and the room itself.

Positives - cheap, very close to the train station so great for accessing London, comfy bed and mostly quiet at night. The co-op next to the hotel was handy. Negatives - the neighbourhood felt a bit rough, someone tripped a fire alarm a few times the 2nd night (we stayed 3 nights), the hotel felt a bit shabby and not very clean or up to Premier Inn's usual very good standards, the rooms were a bit stuffy and you couldn't open the windows. The lowest you could set the temperature to was 19 degrees. There was a lift out of order. The rooms weren't cleaned or the tea and coffee replenished the whole 3 days we were there and very difficult to get hold of staff to help. Not the greatest Premier Inn I've been to but it was reasonable enough for a comfy night's sleep and very handy for visiting London.

Nice enough. Bear the station. Don’t like the entrance system - lifts open to anyone who wants to go in them because Reception is in the first floor. The lifts smell of wee and are dirty because of this. Lots of druggies wandering around the area and walking in and out of the hotel’s ground floor. Very unsettling. Hotel itself it totally understaffed. The few that still remain are run off their feet, but do an amazing job considering how thin on the ground they are & are usually really friendly and nice! Don’t know how they do it! I wouldn’t choose to stay here again but business dictates that I visit Croydon occasionally and that’s the cheapest hotel around East Croydon station!
