“I popped into LPH Pet Supplies just before closing, hoping they’d have some paint I needed for a project due the next morning. The gentleman working there was incredibly patient and helpful, even though my shop extended into after hours. He took the time to walk me through the store, showing me different options and making sure I had everything I needed for my project. You simply don’t find this kind of service or dedication to customers anymore. This shop is a gem, with a selection that goes beyond pet supplies—they also carry homeware, DIY essentials, and more. It’s a much more personal and enjoyable experience than going to a large chain like B&Q, and if there’s something you’re looking for that’s not in stock, they’ll special order it for you. Bonus: they have the two perfect cats who greet you as soon as you walk in! Thank you, LPH, South Croydon is lucky to have you!”

“It's very easy to tell that Sarah is a 'cat person'. The setup is lovely and I was amazed as how easily my two cats settled in to the room for the 6 days they were to spend here. On return home they were so chilled out and it felt to us a good indication of the care they'd been given during their stay. My son absolutely loved the postcard that arrived the next day from the cats saying what a great time they were having too! Everything felt like the cats are the priority over all else, with an appreciation that it can be stressful leaving your animals with someone else when you go away. We will absolutely be using Dulverton again, thank you Sarah.”

Lorraine clearly cares a great deal about the animals staying with her and we really appreciated that Lorraine shared a photo of Harley on the Now Boarding Croydon Facebook page while we were on holiday so we could see how he was getting on. Would highly recommend!”

“I’ve been taking my rabbit to Scallywags for the past 7 years and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Recently I noticed something wrong with my rabbits eyes and breathing, so took him to the vet who assured me everything was fine. When I next visited scallywags, karen immediately noticed something wasn’t right and strongly advised me to take him back to the vet as soon as possible. Thanks to her keen observation and genuine care, I did just that and after a referral to a specialist, he was diagnosed with a tumour. I’m so grateful to Karen, her knowledge of rabbits is exceptional and her love for animals shines through. I truly can’t thank Karen and the team enough. Scallywags is a rare gem and I couldn’t recommend them enough.”

“Bought my ball python from here today. Absolutely wonderful. All snakes are healthy, well nourished and friendly. Lots of reptiles to choose from and wonderful people who own it. Very knowledgeable and kind hearted couple who are very supportive and honest. All reptiles are in clean, well ventilated vivariums/terrariums and are obviously very well loved. Will absolutely 100% recommend and will definitely be coming back again!”

“We have always had amazing experiences with this vet. My dog hates the vets and they always do anything to make her comfortable. They sit on the floor with her and never offer treats (she has a bad tummy) which shows they have read her file.”

“We recently joined this vet for our cat. We needed to find a vet closer to home which is possible to get to by tram or bus, but also had the option of parking close by. We were very happy with the friendly and professional staff. They were supportive and informative right from when we first made contact over the phone, and again when visiting. The reception and examination rooms were very clean. I felt our cat was very calm throughout and we left happy customers.”

“Absolutely lovely experience. Reception staff were super kind and helpful. When we had gone to another vet clinic privately, the vet had no idea what was causing my dog’s coughing and sent us for a £1,300 heart scan that we couldn’t afford to ‘investigate further’, with no other options offered. Here, at PDSA, the vet was very knowledgeable and told us that the dog has a healthy heart, just needed worming treatment. For £10, my dog’s coughing and choking is already gone after less than a week! I’m incredibly happy and so grateful!”

“This place is AMAZING. Im staying there at the minute and it was my birthday, my mum mentioned to staff briefly. And unofficially they delivered birthday balloons and a birthday card to my room. The hotel has such an amazing vibe to it for such a cheap price. Theres so many stores nearby, me and my friend went to an asian convenience store nearby! You NEED to come here!”

This isn’t the first time she has attended to me, and each experience with her has been nothing short of excellent. The very first time I came here, the lift wasn’t working and I had very heavy luggage. I was stressed, but Rashmi handled the situation with so much patience, kindness, and calmness. She reassured me, made me feel completely at ease, and even arranged a room closer so that it wouldn’t be difficult or tiring for me. That thoughtful gesture has stayed with me. Since then, every time I’ve returned, Rashmi has always shown the same level of care, professionalism, and genuine kindness. She remembers guests, she listens, and she truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything is comfortable. People like Rashmi are the reason guests return. She is an absolute credit to the hotel, and I’m truly grateful for all her help.”

“Lovely hotel with nice and modern rooms and so convenient by being located right beside East Croydon Station. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of choices and for everyones tastes. We stayed a few days. Special thanks to Manoj who provided us with an attentive and excellent service.”

He remained clam, courteous and extremely professional throughout my visit. He was alone on the counter for a while but it took the time to listen carefully , explained everything clearly i had run out of my medicine he show me how you can do emergency or 111 and he helped me a lot.. and handled my request efficiently With a friendly and positive attitude. His dedication a willingness to help truly stood out and made a stressful situation much easier. It is rare to experience such excellent customer service especially on a holiday and manish is real credit to the pharmacy team . “Looks exactly like the pictures. Clean and quite. There are no hairdryers in the room but reception can provide one if needed. Super close to the train station and major shopping area. Plenty of food options close by. Staff friendly and helpful.”
