   Told me a lot of outdated care which led me to buy to a lot of the wrong things! Hamsters need large 100cm by 50cm tanks, no wood shavings or muesli mix! I was sceptical about these as I’ve been reading that these are ethical breeders but after a discussion on a Facebook group about proper hamster care (backed with research) I decided not to support these breeders as I want to put animal welfare first!

   Both an excellent pet shop retailer and great at grooming our dog. Very efficient system. Just ring, and book an appointment, then drop off your dog and about 2 to 3 hours later your dog will be ready for collection.

   I’ve been taking my rabbit to Scallywags for the past 7 years and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Recently I noticed something wrong with my rabbits eyes and breathing, so took him to the vet who assured me everything was fine. When I next visited scallywags, karen immediately noticed something wasn’t right and strongly advised me to take him back to the vet as soon as possible. Thanks to her keen observation and genuine care, I did just that and after a referral to a specialist, he was diagnosed with a tumour. I’m so grateful to Karen, her knowledge of rabbits is exceptional and her love for animals shines through. I truly can’t thank Karen and the team enough. Scallywags is a rare gem and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

   A pet shop like no other, they've got a huge selection of small pet items, they have a pick & mix section of treats. They sometimes have premade packs, so you can see what your pets like best. And they're labelled for what pets they're suitable for. They also have a little playpen where you can interact with the pets before adoption. We adopted a hamster from there and she's so chill ☺️

   My Staffie is a nervous little chap and we visited the store this morning and the staff were so kind and friendly and put him at ease, thank you for your time as it was very busy. (Hoping to book him into the parlour after a few more visits). Also they were happy to offer advice and very knowledgeable regards a raw diet. Great staff.

   Absolutely superb service. We went on the waiting list for a hamster as we had heard good things. We got there and the service and knowledge was incredible. They clearly love the babies and the parents so much. Our little boy is super tame already due to their hard work. The store is well stocked for small animal treats too..if it was closer we'd be in weekly. If we're passing we'll be in again!

   Great pet shop and dog grooming. Bought rabbit supplies here for several years before our bunny passed away. Animals in the shop always look healthy and well cared for. Good selection of food types and treats for many types of pets. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful if you have a question to ask.
