“I’ve been taking my rabbit to Scallywags for the past 7 years and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Recently I noticed something wrong with my rabbits eyes and breathing, so took him to the vet who assured me everything was fine. When I next visited scallywags, karen immediately noticed something wasn’t right and strongly advised me to take him back to the vet as soon as possible. Thanks to her keen observation and genuine care, I did just that and after a referral to a specialist, he was diagnosed with a tumour. I’m so grateful to Karen, her knowledge of rabbits is exceptional and her love for animals shines through. I truly can’t thank Karen and the team enough. Scallywags is a rare gem and I couldn’t recommend them enough.”

“Absolutely lovely experience. Reception staff were super kind and helpful. When we had gone to another vet clinic privately, the vet had no idea what was causing my dog’s coughing and sent us for a £1,300 heart scan that we couldn’t afford to ‘investigate further’, with no other options offered. Here, at PDSA, the vet was very knowledgeable and told us that the dog has a healthy heart, just needed worming treatment. For £10, my dog’s coughing and choking is already gone after less than a week! I’m incredibly happy and so grateful!”

“We recently joined this vet for our cat. We needed to find a vet closer to home which is possible to get to by tram or bus, but also had the option of parking close by. We were very happy with the friendly and professional staff. They were supportive and informative right from when we first made contact over the phone, and again when visiting. The reception and examination rooms were very clean. I felt our cat was very calm throughout and we left happy customers.”

“I popped into LPH Pet Supplies just before closing, hoping they’d have some paint I needed for a project due the next morning. The gentleman working there was incredibly patient and helpful, even though my shop extended into after hours. He took the time to walk me through the store, showing me different options and making sure I had everything I needed for my project. You simply don’t find this kind of service or dedication to customers anymore. This shop is a gem, with a selection that goes beyond pet supplies—they also carry homeware, DIY essentials, and more. It’s a much more personal and enjoyable experience than going to a large chain like B&Q, and if there’s something you’re looking for that’s not in stock, they’ll special order it for you. “I had tried 2 other pharmacies seeking an over the counter medicine for a mild but persisting skin issue on my eyelids. Both said there is something I can take, they can’t remember the name and they don’t have it in stock. I came here for my Covid jab and asked on the off chance they had it. The pharmacist not only knew exactly what product I needed but also said he would add it to their order coming the next day when I could pick it up. I’m so pleased with the experience and getting something sorted so quickly.”

“My mother had a stoke and they have been a god send on many occassions. They have been proactive and they stopped giving her a long supply after she messed up and did not tell me, I was very impressed, they are very professional. They have really been a huge help and seem to know more than the GP office, I am very grateful. They are serious, would not say impolite, when you are giving out drugs and peoples lives on the line, not a good idea to joke around. They have been fantastic, thank you.”

He remained clam, courteous and extremely professional throughout my visit. He was alone on the counter for a while but it took the time to listen carefully , explained everything clearly i had run out of my medicine he show me how you can do emergency or 111 and he helped me a lot.. and handled my request efficiently With a friendly and positive attitude. His dedication a willingness to help truly stood out and made a stressful situation much easier. It is rare to experience such excellent customer service especially on a holiday and manish is real credit to the pharmacy team . “This is not my usual pharmacy but I requested some vaccine evidence my son had done in 2022. Phone lines are busy but once he took my call, he told me to come done later in the day and like clockwork, two printouts were waiting for me. No charge which was also great. The pharmacist (Sandip) was so helpful and a credit to the pharmacy.”

“Never have a problem with boots always have my prescription ready and text me when it's ready to be collected. They have even delivered it to me when I've been poorly. Staff are very very Friendly and always so helpful”

“Update 3/2025: I have switched to this pharmacy as my regular pharmacy because the opening hours are more convenient than my previous pharmacy, and they have more of a personal touch. So far, so good. OP. I had to pickup a missed Amazon delivery at this venue. Collection was fast and efficient, and the pharmacy looks well-established as well as having fairly long opening hours, which is convenient.”

“I have never written a google review before. However, I felt compelled to do so because of the exceptional service received by all the staff at Goddard Veterinary in New Addington. This is the first kitten I have had as an adult, and I wanted to give her the best start in life, so I visited 2 vets in my location. I could not believe how I was totally ignored at the first vet I visited. I thought if they could ignore a human, then I didn't know what they would do to my kitten. So I then visited Goddard Veterinary and was so happy how Marie spoke to me and explained everything to me. First impressions really do count! Since then, I registered my kitten, and she has attended there and is now an adult cat. She has been looked after so well. I would like to say a very big thank you to Marie, Liz, Helen, and Paulo for all their hard work and how kind, caring, and professional they have all been. I chose to write this review 22 months after having my first visit in order to give a true perspective of the service I have received so far. I would not hesitate for anyone to choose this vet to look after their pets.”
