Probably the worst place to stay. Room is the size of the dirtiest chihuahua ever imaginable, and the manager told us to “get out” when we asked for help. Water for shower literally drips drop by drop, you’ll find better water flow in the African Sahara. Especially considering this is not cheap at all….

The photos on Booking.com are probably from a few years ago. The rooms are small, dirty, and disgusting. The lights don't work, and there's only one electrical outlet. The shared bathrooms are riddled with mold, the doors don't close properly, and there's no hot water. On top of that, we had a mouse in our room the first night, which meant we couldn't sleep at all. In the morning, when I informed the receptionist, she dismissed me with, "It's a good room." Only when I returned a second time and told her I wanted to speak to the gentleman who checked us in the previous day did she finally call him on loudspeaker, so I heard the entire conversation, in which the lady didn't understand why I wanted to speak to him and told her not to call the manager. When the gentleman arrived after an hour's wait, he said he didn't know where the mouse was coming from and could only give us another room. The second room was also dirty, and the toilet was even worse. The walls were so thin you could hear the receptionist singing "Merry Christmas" and arguing with other guests. The reviews on Google differ significantly from those on Booking.com, and unfortunately, we only read them after the mouse incident. People there were saying they had bedbugs! I strongly advise against staying here. The entire experience was like something out of a horror movie, not worth a single penny.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Earls Court Hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations due to several issues that made my stay extremely uncomfortable. Upon arrival, the receptionist, Andrew, informed me that he had “upgraded” my room — without my consent. The room I was given was small, had a strong unpleasant odour, and there were visible marks on the walls. When I raised my concerns and requested a refund, I was only then told about the so-called upgrade. In addition, several amenities in the room were not functioning: The light was broken, leaving the room dark. The TV did not work. The heating system was not operational. To make matters worse, I was not informed beforehand that there was a cat on the premises. The cat was placed directly outside my room, and Andrew was seen hissing and clicking his fingers at it while I was trying to settle in. This was distressing, especially as I am allergic to cats. When I explained this, he dismissed my concern, stating he had “never heard of such a thing.” I also found the bedsheet dirty and marked, which was completely unacceptable for a hotel stay. When I mentioned the broken light, Andrew suggested I should use a public shower instead — an unreasonable response considering I booked a private room with its own facilities. This experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I kindly request a full refund for my stay and that this matter be investigated so no other guest experiences the same. Please confirm receipt of this email and let me know the next steps for processing my refund.

We were lucky not to encounter any bed bugs, but we mentioned at check-in that we were aware of the issue, and they said unfortunately it’s a problem everywhere. The cleanliness wasn’t great, and I think you can find something better for this price. The photos on Booking don’t reflect reality, but it wasn’t that bad overall. The receptionist was kind and helpful.

I would not recommend this hotel. I arrived at the property and the room was nothing like the pictures. We had booked 2 rooms one room had no light or hot water in the bathroom, the door did not lock properly, the floor boards were lifting and the TV did not work. The second room - the bathroom was so small that you couldn’t get changed in there but if you did you had to straddle the toilet. Also the bathroom sink was in room as it didn’t fit in the tiny bathroom. To turn the fan on the cord had to be across the room at head height. The tv did not turn on but it had no antenna cord. This room had BED BUGS

All in all, it was a great experience in the Hotel Earl's Court. The Rooms were as expected. The people working there were very nice, especially George at the reception, he is a very genuine and great person who is a thousand times nicer than he has to be. Thank you George

Small room very old mankey vintage Shower has no pressure its like a drip of water ever minute cant even get a warm shower will never stay there again disgusting. No facilities or anything in the hotel like it says Wifi does not even work Tv does not work. The bedside lamps dont work dont book this hotel. The bathrooms that small if u sit on the toilet its like your touching the shower glass no space what so ever. Carpets smell. Bedding was not exactly fully clean either. The reception manager said well you got a bed and room for the night what more do you want.. what an attitude to have. No wonder it has no refund policy. The breakfast was cancelled as said ran out of supplies thats at 8am The only positive was the earls court underground station is minutes away walking. Im suprised how this hotel is functioning has multipul health hazards. AVOID BOOKING IT. ONLY BOOK IF YOU WANT YOUR STAY TO BE UNPLEASENT AND RUINED

I’d give it 0 stars if I could. Never been to such an awful hotel. Filthy, nothing like the pictures, burn holes in curtains, leak marks on walls. Not fit for human habitation! Save your money and stay well away. Also told I couldn’t have a refund despite paying the cancellation fee. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had by some distance.

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience, poor breakfast, manager leave throughout the morning and leave the place with no one to sort the problems, and you need to wait til he arrives to start your day. Zero star indeed... P.S the rooms aren't the same as the pictures, they put my friend in a tiny room that wasn't possible open the luggage... And the owner replayed the pictures are just to illustrate the place... Wi-fi doesn't work as well... Horrible experience, never again I'll step on that place.. but feel free to get frustrated if you want

Two stars for the box room in the basement is being very generous. Arriving to a room smelling strongly of smoke, unlocked, tv on with the windows wide open and anything but clean. Sheets had stains, spare pillow was filthy. Bathroom had not been cleaned, and the glasses had toothpaste in them still. 2/6 lights worked. Walls were so thin we had the pleasure of hearing the four guys next door arguing until 0300, and practically joining in with everyone's breakfast in our room. Very interested to see what the fire plan is considering there one tiny stairs out of this place. Seems like if you don't get the basement "room" you'll be ok. Guy at the reception was nice though tbf.
