Hotel was great - Harry was super helpful and kind enough to accommodate us earlier. In addition, allowed us to keep our bags on our last day. We will always come back. Thank you Brompton hotel and Harry for making it super special !!

Highly recommend this lovely place. The staff were very warm, professional, and considerate of our needs. The room was very welcoming, including the sparkly clean made up beds and fresh looking bathroom. The location is great - very close to museums and other interesting places. I will definitely consider coming here again.

The purpose of the vacation was to visit London so this hotel meets our priorities. great location as we visited almost everything by foot. Great prices considering the location. The hotel is over 100 years old so you can call it vintage but the rooms are under needed renovations. The bathroom was perfect and the staff is very friendly, especially Afaq who advised us about visiting some places.

Really great location, being one minute from South Kensington Tube, very close to the museums, cafes and restaurants. Hotel itself is shabby and basic but we received a warm welcome, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and towels fresh. We stayed at the very top of the building in a family room, and it was very warm up there and the hallways honestly stank of BO - but our window opened so the air was fresh in the room itself. Bedside lamp was broken. This place is fine if you just want a base in a good location, for a shower and a sleep. Certainly not the kind of hotel you’d want to spend much more time in than is necessary!

I have stayed at this hotel for 6 weeks to be conveniently near enough to the Royal Brompton Hospital to visit my wife during her long recovery. (It’s a one kilometre walk or a convenient 2- stop No. 49 bus run.) My double room is clean and comfortable and is serviced daily by very pleasant staff. The staff in reception are equally pleasant and polite. Harry, who is there during the day, deserves special mention. If you find stairs a problem that would be the only drawback I see, as there is not a lift. There are 16 steps up from street level to reception and to the level of the lowest rooms. The hotel is quite an old building but is kept nice and clean. It’s situation is very convenient for shops as well as for relatively easy access to city attractions. I can recommend it for anyone looking for a fair price-value ratio.

Great wee hotel. Nice friendly staff and great location beside the Natural History Museum. Big bed, Shower and Toilet...What more do you want when you're there to see London. Great prices for great Location.

Does not feel like a 3 star hotel at all. No lifts, small rooms, no air-condition, inflexible staff. Would not recommend if you have any luggage because reception is on the first floor so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. When you reach the reception, you have to climb more stairs. Felt like we were staying in a school dormitory. At 10.30PM we received a call saying guests had to leave at 11PM sharp. There were airport strikes and we asked if we could have an additional guest wait in the room until 2AM to send us off and they said no. So we had to check out 1 night before. Please stay somewhere else. There are so many hotels in that area that have better service with nicer staff who would be more compassionate about our circumstance.

Day one I would have given 4 stars because I know what I’m getting for the price I paid. Good communication. Clean Good location(by the train station But second day, basic things weren’t working: No hot water in the shower Toilet didn’t flush

This hotel needs some tlc but my room was OK, linen was clean and bed was comfy. Very quiet at night which was a welcome change from my usual stays in London. No food or drink available but lots of local amenities. Great location for museums and Royal Albert Hall x
