I stayed one night at this hotel. Unfortunately, when we entered the room, the bathroom floor was completely flooded with water. The night shift staff was helpful and placed several towels on the floor to soak it up. However, I found it strange that they hadn't checked the bathroom and shower properly before handing over the room. They also said there were no other rooms available to give us.

We booked last minute so we got a lower ground room with no windows, no wardrobe and no bed side cabinet. The bathroom was very big with a good shower and plenty of storage units. There was a small area with sink, single hob and a kettle plus coffee sachets and tea bags. Also a small round table and one chair. All in all fairly good value for the low price. Good for a one night stay. The studios in the upper floors look great but were all taken on that night. Reception stuff are very helpful.

Booked a stay for a few days at Christmas time, price was reasonable for the time and location. Check in and out was very quick and simple, just remember to bring ID. The hotel was nice and quiet with 24 hour staff who were always helpful. Definitely a good choice for a quick trip to London.

We are a Spanish family with two young children who stayed at the hotel last week. The experience was excellent. The room was very spacious with two separate large beds, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and a fully equipped kitchen. We would like to highlight the professionalism and excellent personal service of the receptionist, Jugal Shah, who selflessly helped us during a difficult time. We are very grateful, and if we return to London, we will definitely stay at the Axiom again.

To be clear the 3 stars are based on what level of Hotel i think it currently represents. But i was pretty happy with what I we had, and it met expectations after reading reviews we knew it was going to be a little less than perfect. I think it was a great deal for the cost. There was nowhere else so close to central london that came close on costs (the slightly cheaper price per night makes a big difference if you're staying for a week or so). For non-londoners you may not realise that locations accross the city vary wildly, and Battersea / the proximity to the park make Axiom a great place to stay and access all london has to offer. I would choose this location before the 'comeptition' we were comparing on cost which woudl have put us in Ibis Hownslow or very far out in the East end. I would stay here again - ideally with air-con fixed or at least a sensible ambient temperature, or a window that opens more than 1 inch. Place is well worn and ready for a refurb for sure, but it was a great place for us, 20 minutes into Southwark everyday on the lime bikes. Cleaner came in daily with towels and bed changed 2 or 3 times in a weeks stay (I think she wanted to do it more but I was busy working). Only actual downside was the heat. Air con does not work and window barely opens, they do have big fans in the room but you will have them on permanently and still be too hot. Fridge worked well which was very handy, as you’ll need cold drinks on hand permanently. Staff were helpful and the parking was really good (£20 a day extra) underground and right next to the door to bring stuff in. WiFi works and decent speeds.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and very much enjoyed. Very clean, best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time, and a great location not far from Victoria Station - there is also a bus stop right outside which were frequent, cheap and easy to use. A cheap supermarket is also opposite and a Tesco just down the road. Would recommend staying here. Clean room, with tea & coffee facilities provided as well as a microwave, plates, cutlery and a fridge etc

Booked this hotel because it was the only one advertising secure parking and relatively close the the embassy. Called reception for 3 days straight before arriving to book parking just to be told last minute that they only have 3 spaces for 30 rooms and they are all booked. The entire place was reeking of weed and the windows wouldn’t shut properly on the street side so make sure you request a garden view room. This is also the first hotel I’ve been to where apparently you have to request a hair dryer at reception but you have a toaster in your room - priorities. Very shady place overall.

We stayed one night and it was a very comfortable stay. The rooms were very clean, fresh and bathrooms were big. The bed was super comfy too. The staff was super helpful, professional and attentive. One of our best stays in London. Reading other reviews, I feel like it’s harsh and unreasonable from people!

Fairly priced hotel, unlike the rest in central London. However, you get what you pay for. It's definitely not a 4-star hotel but it's relatively nice and the facilities are clean. Although we were put in a basement room with no windows, our room was ok and had everything necessary for a short stay. We did use the parking facilities of the hotel - £15 per day. It's also a 10-15min walk from the nearest underground station.
