Sometimes you read reviews and think maybe I won't stay there. This hotel is the total opposite. I fractured my foot a month ago but needed to travel for work, so stayed here a night. I am almost healed so can slowly do stairs but when I turned up on crutches the receptionist asked several times if id be okay, as my room was upstairs. I said if you have anything lower down sure, but its fine if not. She made a call and switched things around to give me the only ground floor room. I just want to say thank you so much. You went above and beyond! The room was comfy and clean. Bed and pillows comfy and nice shower. When I travel for work again, I'll be checking if there is a room available here first.

We spent a nice time here. The location is very good, in the sense that you make 15 minutes walking to the city centre and Belgrave road is nice and quiet. The room was clean, as the cleaning was made almost every day. Also, the beds are very confortable. The staff, nice and helpful.

I had a really pleasant stay at The Park Hotel. I got a bigger room than I booked, which was a nice surprise. The reception staff were very friendly, and the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and shampoo provided. Everything was simple but well looked after. Good service and a great location.

I would rather spend a night in a cell than spend a night in this hotel… After being greeted by the host/receptionist and checking in, she disappeared to the room to spray febreze in the room which at the start we overlooked. This was evident as a result of witnessing this on the CCTV at the entrance to this hotel. After being directed to the room, we were greeted with mouldy skirting board, stained carpets and pillows let alone the used bar of soap and razor in this draw underneath the bathroom sink. It was apparent after 5 minutes of staying in this room that the reason for the “top up” of half a can of febreze was to disguise the smell of damp, and after a further 15 minutes, baring in mind one of the guests I was travelling with was over 20 weeks pregnant, we were all left with severe headaches. After no longer than half an hour of being in the room we decided to go elsewhere, for primarily our health and sanity with the only positive being the locality this “hotel” is situated in. When explaining to the host/receptionist the above, she phoned her manager for him to say “what damp” and to decline our request for a refund. This “hotel” must NOT continue running and would urge anyone who is considering staying here to think again when there are similarly priced hotels that are 10x better within the area for a very similar price. One month later we are still awaiting a refund and some acknowledgment following our comments and rest assured we will be taking this further following our experience. PS if anyone does consider staying here and wants a “balcony view” I’ve inserted the wonderful view you will be greeted with.

First of all, the location is so great. And then, the staffs, especially Fatima (receptionist) were so well behaved and supportive. I booked a double room and it was worth it with a huge amount of amenities as well. Though the size is not that spacious, but in this price, on that location, its a hidden gem.

Staff were very friendly and the room we booked was nice. We were in London to see a show and sight-see, so we need somewhere to sleep. The room ticked the boxes: comfy bed, great shower and brilliant location.

Dirty, smelly and no hygiene standards. We were given a lower ground floor room, absolutely stinky, checked in at 4pm, dropped our belongings and went for food. When returning to the room as soon as opening the door a mouse left the room running through the corridor into their storage space literally next door. Grabbed our bits and checked out straight away. The hotel refused a refund. This place should be shut down.

+ this place is cheap and good if you need a place to sleep. Has the essentials. It's close to attractions. - The rooms are so small, beds are old and squeaky. The place needs a deep clean.

Given the price, much lower then the others, we expected it not be a luxurious hotel. Actually rooms are very little but the bathroom is private. The staff is very kind and the position excellent. Also the neighbourhood is quiet, even at night. Beds were made every morning and towels changed. Cleaning... not their strongest point

Horrible. The room was never cleaned for our 5 night stay. Bathroom dirty. Room way too tiny for three people. The staff was disrespectful and misogynistic when we asked for basic housekeeping service. Would advice everyone to stay away from this place!
