   I’d been struggling with a recurring groin injury from football for the past 12 months. Matt guided me through each stage of the recovery week by week, addressing all my concerns and explaining everything clearly. After just two months of physiotherapy, I’m now hopeful to return to playing in the next few weeks.    I visited Matt for a knee injury that had been plaguing me for over a year that was gradually getting worse with continued strength training and sports. Matt was quick to diagnose the issue as quad tendinopathy and gave me a tailored rehabilitation programme to strengthen the tendon and reduce the pain. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and great at answering any questions and going into detail on the rehabilitation process. META Physio also have a very well equipped gym which is ideal to teach new exercises and assess if they're a right fit for the injury. All in all a great physio, I wish I'd gone to Matt sooner! Highly recommended

   Matt at META Physio & Performance is your physio go-to! What an absolute star Matt is. My 79 year-old mom was in real pain and distress after being discharged from Walsall Manor after sustaining several fractures. I called Matt on a Saturday asking if he could possibly help. He came round the same day! Matt was totally, professional, helpful, kind and reassuring. He assessed mom and also her home in terms of how she was able to function in it - everything from the way she managed the stairs to how she could use the toilet, the armchair she was using - everything. He was a font of practical knowledge, examined mom and made suggestions that immediately reassured us. He knew his stuff and explained things in an understandable way that empowered my mom to make the best decisions about how she was going to manage her recovery. On top of everything, Matt's charges were very reasonable. I don't often write Google reviews, but I wanted to write this for Matt - he deserves it and more. Thank you, Matt. Carry on doing what you do, the world needs more like you.

   I had both my knees replaced and was reasonably pleased with the outcome but felt they could be better. I went to see Matt at META and he worked out a programme for me that was simple but effective, the improvement in a short time was amazing, I’m now walking 5 miles every day and the mobility is so much better.    I booked an initial assessment with Matt for a knee injury I got playing rugby. Matt was quickly able to diagnose my injury as a torn meniscus (which was later confirmed with an MRI). He then set about devising a rehab programme with the aim of getting me back playing rugby. Matt made sure the rehab was tailored to my needs and fit my lifestyle and training routine. Within weeks I was seeing big improvements and with every appointment Matt tweaked the rehab in order to maximise the results. His knowledge around sports and sports injuries is vast - he always had the answers to my questions and made sure he explained everything in full. 3 months on and my knee is almost 100%. I can't recommend Matt highly enough!!
