Louie on reception made us feel welcome as soon as we stepped through the front door. Helped us to have a perfect start to our one night stay. Can't thank him enough. Room was as described. It was very clean and all we needed for our one night stay. View out of the first floor room window looked down on to Monmouth Street and Shaftsbury Avenue. Location couldn't be better. Right on the edge of Covent Garden and a short few minutes walk to Leicester Square, also. For the staff friendliness, location, comfy beds and price, it's a winner. Would stay again and would recommend to others. Cheap as chips for where it is. Thank you very much. Julian & Natalie

This is not a real hotel. What I found was a front desk handing keys to an apartment in another area of the city, about a ten-minute walk from there. That shared apartment was located above a sketchy looking business in a commercial street. Inside, the room was tiny and sad looking, with dirty towels and almost no furniture. The wifi was abysmal. I'll avoid any contact whatsoever with this business (whatever it's supposed to be) in the future.

I booked Seven Dials Hotel expecting a comfortable stay, but what I experienced was completely unacceptable. The property presented itself as a hotel, but in reality itβs a private hostel at a hotel price. There was no air conditioning in the room, which was over 85Β°, and when I asked the front desk about it, the clerk told me to go buy my own fan if I wanted to cool off. The elevator was out of service, and I was expected to climb multiple flights of stairs to a third-floor room with luggage. This was never disclosed in advance. Because of the conditions, I was unable to stay. I checked in, saw the state of the room, and left the same day to book an actual hotel that provided basic comfort and accessibility. Guests deserve honesty about what they are booking, especially regarding accessibility and comfort. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for lodging in London.

My second time staying. Reception staff are always friendly and welcoming and will look after your case behind reception after you check out if you want to do a bit of shopping or grab lunch before heading off home. Rooms are very good value for money considering you are in Covent Garden, and they are basic, clean with comfortable beds and a mini fridge.

Itβs basic, but has what you need. Itβs cheap and you get what you pay for. Nothing special, but the bed sheets and towels are clean and bed comfortable. Some extra cleaning could be done of the curtains and under beds and other furniture, but generally ok. We were first assigned to the basement room that had no windows, which would not have been acceptable in the summer weather. We asked to be moved and they moved us to the second floor with windows. The room had air con, but all settings are locked and it only turns on for half an hour before shutting off again. The noise from outside can be loud, but wasnβt too bad. Internally, the place could do with some extra soundproofing, as can easily hear people in the corridors and other rooms, but nothing excessive.

Great location, rooms are basic but have all the necessities. Walls are quite thin but we had no trouble sleeping, perhaps we lucked out with our neighbours. Kind personnel. Overall good experience and price for a hotel in London.

The only word that comes to mind is 'rathole'. The location is great. A walk away from some important and central locations. But nothing else about this place was good. When we checked in to our room, we found a cigarette butt rolling on the floor. Come on guys! At lease clean the room with honesty, considering the price you're charging. We were disappointed.

Even though the room was very small, the bed was super comfy & had no trouble falling to sleep. Hotel was in a great location. Only 30mins walks from euston & 10mins walk to the theatre we was going to. Staff friendly & let us check in an hr early to time on booking

I stay in London most weekends and this is without doubt the worst hotel Iβve ever stayed in. Itβs dirty, noisy and unfortunately I had barely any sleep. Other guests were all complaining too and I came out covered in bites. Avoid at all costs!

One of the worst stays of my life. Amazing location but the exorbitant price is not justified, there are slightly more expensive places in equally good locations but with much better facilities. We had a basement room and it was like being in a very small bomb shelter claustrophobic tiny room with no windows, no aircon and the ceiling fan was too noisy to keep on at night while also appearing ready to fall from the ceiling at any moment. The walls are paper thin so it also feels like you are sharing the room with the rest of the basement as you can perfectly hear all conversations coming from the rooms next to yours. I would never recommend this place.
