5* stay. Had a message the day before to explain how to get into the rooms as the pub was closed. Nice and easy to find and not on a busy road, so even with the windows open, no noise overnight. Rooms were lovley and comfortable. Shower gel and shampoo were provided. Thank you for allowing us to check in slightly earlier than stated. It is most appreciated.

This review is for the restaurant only. I was invited here for a Sunday lunch and my experience was awful - it took a really long time to get served (in terms of receiving drinks and ordering food.) One guest requested a pint of coke, and was served a 200ml bottle. We waited for food to arrive for well over an hour, and watched a table that arrived after us get served well before us. But most importantly when the roast did arrive, it was immensely disappointing. Bland, a bit burnt, and absolutely lacking generosity despite being at least Β£27+ per plate. Myself and my partner ordered the same item and my plate came with exactly one strip of carrot on it. His had none on there at all. Carrots are so inexpensive, why would anyone expect a single strip of carrot on a Sunday roast? The waiter also served these six adult meals with one very small jug of gravy (the jug being a bit smaller than a standard tea cup). When I requested more, he seemed a bit confused and explained to me that he had already provided gravy - as though a teaspoon each should be satisfactory. He did end up bringing another jug however, which was appreciated. Ultimately I felt this had less flavour than generally provided by a toby carvery - but you pay much more, receive much less, and wait much longer. Not recommended.

We dined in the beautiful greenhouse,/ art gallery addition to the pub. The menu was a spectacular array of roast choices, and we had the aged sirloin (tender and flavorful), pork belly (very tasty) and chicken (a little salty and dry), along with delicious cooked kale (Bravo),. Very easygoing about adapting to a baby at the table. Full house but low music and excellent acoustic control, so normal conversations can be had. Wonderful way to spend Sunday !!!

The review pertains to the restaurant, not the rooms which we did not experience. We visited for a Sunday roast, which was ok, but quite honestly, underwhelming. The dry aged beef was sadly abit on the raw side, and the Yorkshire puddings were quite thoroughly burnt for all plates, as you can see in the pictures below. Overall, there is much to improve on the food, especially when taking into account that there is a Β£30 price tag stuck onto each plate. From my experience today I would, sadly, not recommend it.

Visited the Coach for their Sunday Roast. The weather was good so we were seated outside in their beer garden. The Sunday Roast menu offers Beef, Pork Belly, Chicken and Lamb options all served with Roast potatoes, Vegetables, Gratin and gravy. The food was very good, tasty and the portions ample. The gratin left something to be desired however the whole meal was enjoyable The staff and service were polite, friendly and helpful. I will certainly be visiting again.

I have visited the pub a handful of times now and loved it every time. Food is 10/10 and their Sunday roasts are to die for! Staff is always super friendly and thereβs a good atmosphere and feel to the place. Havenβt stayed overnight but I am very tempted to.

I went to The Coach for a wedding reception and as someone whoβs vegan you're very ready to be served up a watery stuffed pepper on such an occasion. HOWEVER! Not at The Coach. My dinner was absolutely exceptional, cooked to perfection, which made a special day even better. A great experience and incredibly hospitable staff. Highly recommended :)

Amazing place for Sunday roast. The food was amazing and prices were reasonable. Service is better than most places. You may want a reservation on a Sunday as it can get busy during lunch hours. The restaurant also has a patio outside with heaters.

I've been a regular of the Coach pub for over a year now and I always enjoy it when I go there. The pub is in an excellent location and has ample seating to suit all kind of people. When I am there, I usually have a pint of their own pale ale which is fantastic, refreshing and very affordable!

We were Γ group of 4 + Jack Russell visiting from Amsterdam. Pooch was warmly welcomed which was good as we picked the pub dining room because itβs dog friendly. Food was outstanding as was friendly service. Stylish pub off the main beat. Will definitely be back next time we r in London Town. Shout out to manager Toni for making our night!!
