I found this place really good value. It was Β£109 for a 1 night stay on a Monday night. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot (if a little quirky in how it was attached to the wall!). The rooms seem to have been fitted out recently and done to a good standard. The chap on reception was friendly and helpful. A couple of things to be mindful of: 1) Check in is 3pm to 9pm so might not work for everyone 2) There's no option to have breakfast or dinner. There's several food vans nearby which I walked past that looked appetizing! All in all I'd stay again for sure. By the way the photos are after I'd stayed in the room! The bed was nicely made when I arrived ;)

I booked this hotel specifically as it had a family room and the photos seemed authentic; and there donβt appear to be that many hotels offering an adequate family room. It was an ideal location to walk to and from The Hunger Games as well as other locations in Canary Wharf. The room is on the ground floor as well so no climbing stairs is ideal with kids! I canβt fault this place - the only annoying thing was I needed another pillow and I heard the overtrain (but I brought ear plugs), but to be honest Iβm a sensitive sleeper so always come prepared.

Honestly looks a bit sketchy at first, but itβs so lovely. It faces the water, itβs spacious and super clean. I will definitely be returning. Itβs such a nice location and close to so many nice places to eat and hangout. Pretty safe too. I wish the room had a thicker blanket and maybe a bathrobe because the bathroom and shower area isnβt in the rooms and itβs an apartment sort of a situation, and I donβt think anybody would want to get see in the halls in their towel by a stranger. The kitchen was also nice and clean and had a microwave, fridge, oven, washing machine and plates etc. They had a kettle too, but it was pretty dirty and definitely not in a usable condition. They also had tea bags, coffee, milk, shower gel, moisturiser and shampoo etc.

I had a very pleasant stay here. The receptionist was lovely and friendly. I had a very decent sized room with ensuite. It was clean and tidy. There are places to eat and an Asda nearby. It was a little hot in the room but there was a fan and also some water in the fridge. I would stay again.

What a joke of a hotel... I stayed at 19 Pepper Street in what was advertised as a deluxe double room. I had to share a bathroom with four or five others-- absolutely disgusting. The room was definitely not clean. The amount of flies, spiders and mosquitoes right outside of my room and the main entrance was shocking. As a solo female traveller, staying in such a situation without a receptionist on site made me feel very uncomfortable. I also felt that the door and its lock could've been broken. Also, no place to hang towels to dry, no bedside lamp. Additionally, the walls are very thin and you can hear other guests talking. Also, in the middle of the day it was impossible to take a nap without being woken up by the radio which was played at full blast by the cleaning staff. The girl at the other location's reception was kind. That and the location were the only positives. This should have been MUCH cheaper for what it is because for only Β£30 more per night I could have gone to a very good hotel in Canary Wharf. Oh also?? Bed bugs

A nice Hotel. Kind of seems its an industrial building conversion considering the location. I didn't see a lift so if you have a disability, I'd enquire about downstairs rooms first as there's alot of stairs. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a feeling some rooms are for permanent residents and made it feel more like a Hostel in that respect. There are shared bathrooms for each floor though we were lucky enough to have a En-Suite. The toilet and En-Suite rooms were clean, modern. The bedrooms were very nice, clean and modern. I did wake up half way though the night absolutely roasting because the heating was turned all the way up and the TV in the Top floor room doesn't work very well due to poor signal. The walls are thin, especially if next door has children but over all a pleasant experience. Overall 7/10.

We went into this hotel thinking it couldnβt possibly be as bad as the reviews said. And in a way, we were correct - it was worse; so much worse. The room was small with dirty walls, the bathroom was shared with other rooms - and it had bugs. One could argue with the βoh, but it was not bad considering the good price,β and I will say that no matter of money saved can make up for the fact that a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, 3AM. We ran outside confused and scared. There was no fire in the end, but no firefighters came, nobody was at the reception. We tried to call the number on the website. Of course, nobody picked up. We couldnβt sleep because of the horrible noise the - which was STILL going off when we left the hotel in the morning. The entire night was a nightmare. When we arrived back at the hotel in the evening, they refused to give us refund. No surprise there. Save yourself the money and the experience and donβt come into this βhotel.β

Unsafe. My friend - a woman alone- arrived a few minutes late due to travel problems. I informed the hotel but they didnβt wait for her and left her without access to the room, alone at night. Booking. Com agreed this was appalling and asked them to refund but they have refused. Do not use this hotel. Shocking

Probably the worst nights sleep I've ever had. Staff don't even care. I've asked for a full refund due to security and health and safety concerns, but their response was that I've already stayed so nothing can be done. Had people outside at all hours of the night throwing stones at the windows, trying to break down the door to our room and the fire doors weren't even up to code. This place is Ulunsafe and uncaring with no staff on hand at all hours. I would only book to stay here if you hate yourself.
