Beautifully appointed room. The staff were polite and helpful, however, the kettle, coffee maker were plugged into a small cupboard space which could harbour bacteria due to lack of a proper deep clean. The used cup and saucer had not been taken away to be properly cleaned in a kitchen environment but were washed in the bathroom wash basin. I had deliberately marked the underside of each item with a pen which was still there after it had been cleaned. A huge letdown for a hotel of this calibre. Also the bottled water in the fridge was unsealed which raises the question did it originate from the bathroom too?

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and in no way reflected a 5-star standard—especially not for a price of over £700 per night. From the start, the staff were unfriendly, rude, and completely unaccommodating. Simple requests felt like inconveniences to them. There was no room service after 9:45 pm, not even for something as basic as fries, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed standard. The room itself felt old and poorly equipped, with only the most basic amenities. There was no hair dryer, and we were given only one pair of slippers for two guests. Small details, but ones you would never expect to be missing at a luxury hotel. The only truly “luxurious” thing about the room was the heated toilet seat—and unfortunately, that says everything about the overall experience. The most frustrating moment was when we needed to borrow scissors to remove a tag from clothing. What should have taken seconds turned into a long back-and-forth discussion, and in the end, a staff member actually stood outside the door waiting while I used them—making the entire situation uncomfortable and unnecessary. At checkout, I was asked about my stay. When I tried to honestly explain my experience, the staff member dismissed me in a condescending manner, showing no interest in feedback or improving the situation. This sealed the overall impression of poor service and lack of professionalism. I have honestly stayed in much better 3-star hotels than this. I truly cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, especially at this price point. This was one of the worst “luxury” experiences I’ve ever had, and I left feeling frustrated rather than relaxed.

Amazing hotel . Great design very comfortable rooms and great location . When we arrived back at the hotel late the residents bar was closed but an amazing security manager opened it up and ensured we received excellent service . That was impressive. The breakfast service is probably the worst I’ve experienced at any hotel I can recollect. Very slow very disorganised. The breakfast itself is really good and the ambience n the room is incredible. Luckily the issues with breakfast are easy to fix . 1. Additional coffee machines 2. Extend times at weekends till 11am to prevent the surge in numbers between 9 and 10am . 3. An experienced resturant manager So overall would be 5 star but they have to loose a star for the breakfast service .

A solid 2 star. I've stayed in better 3 star hotels. I liked The location, its well connected by tube and bus and is the quieter side of central london. Borough market neaby. The lovely old building and the room i stayed in was super nice. Nice decor. Clean. We slept well, though the bed was a bit hard for us. I did not like: Upon arriving (on foot) we were ignored by the bell boy completely as he rushed to greet persons arriving by uber behind us. Sigh. The gent on the front desk mearly processed us. No proper greeting. No offer to sit. He was weirdly a bit frantic for no real obvious reason. No iron/ironing board in room. I only asked reception for one thing during my stay. To borrow a phone charger. It could not be provided. In all, I wish we'd booked the Hyatt in Canary Warf (a similar room rate at time of booking). Those people know hospitality. Note to owner/manager. - staying at a 5* property should be effortless. The warm staff taking care of you, make you feel important. None of this happened. SORT IT OUT. You've got a great property, but the experience is off. Would not return.

Only stayed here for a couple of nights and felt like I was barely in the room except to sleep! However, it’s a great hotel with a stylish design. The rooms are very spacious with an incredibly comfy bed. The air conditioning was fantastic — a big bonus in my book! The bathroom was excellent too, featuring a lovely walk-in shower, and the toilet was one of those high-tech Japanese-style ones. Nice touch! Location is great being right near the London Bridge Underground too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in town.

Beautiful hotel, service was amazing, concierge was the most friendly and helpful person ever. Housekeeping and check in lovely. Breakfast was filling and impressive. Room was a senior classroom and the views were amazing! Highly recommend a stay in this awesome London Bridge hotel.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with adequate, not good, service. It’s not a 5-star hotel as advertised, and doesn’t have the amenities and service you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. I have stayed in many 5-star hotels in London, and this was the least posh. For instance, although there are many steps to get to the entrance, there is no doorman to help with luggage. To get a cab is not easy, as there are not many front desk staff. When I arrived early, instead of offering to store my bags and contacting me when my room was ready, the attitude was I was inconsiderate for showing up early and bothering them. There are no slippers even though the rooms have wooden floors with no rugs. These floors also make for loud rooms if you have someone above or next to you. There are no sheer drapes so you have to have the curtains drawn or be seen by the nearby neighbors or outside passers by (I was in a senior classroom on the 1st floor - 2nd floor to Americans- facing east). Housekeeping is inconsistent, didn’t fill creams or Diet Coke, for instance (but the complimentary snacks and a couple of drinks is nice). The breakfast is quite good, with inconsistent service. Overall a lovely place, a 4-star hotel for sure, but missing the excellent service and extra touches you would expect in a 5-star hotel.

Stayed in a senior classroom which was big but also a little stark - white walls and not much in the way of furnishings. A nice vanity unit and the sofa positioned differently would really lift the rooms as it felt some of the furniture was past its best. Aside from that we had a lovely stay with great service and lovely food for both dinner and breakfast. Not quite sure why the menu isn’t published anywhere (the website to the restaurant doesn’t exist) as this was one of the best Indians we have had in a long time. If the bedrooms had a little more spent on them this would be a very high standard hotel.

The hotel location was the best part of our stay, very close to tower Bridge, London Bridge area and close to tubes, buses and the Thames boats. I found the hotel to be good but value for money was lacking, small room with only a shower. Service was good although we did have a charge of £9 for some oat milk for coffee, though was removed. We also had some communication issues before arriving and on turn charged a lot more than when the booking was confirmed so this was already off-putting before arriving. To make up for it we were promised a room with a view of the shard...it was a little laughable as the view was a bit rubbish and literally just the tip you could see.
