My visit to the hostel was short and sweet. I was only there for a few hours so probably didn't make the most of all the facilities but I enjoyed being able to store my bag for only £4 earlier in the day while I explored London and I had a great night's sleep before I had to head off for an early train. The hostel's proximity to Kings Cross is fantastic, it was great not to have to trek half way across London to get to where I needed to be first thing in the morning. As a lone female traveller, I felt absolutely safe here, even in a mixed sex pod room and I would happily stay again.

I had never stayed in a hostel before. I would describe the experience as positive. Positive points: the location and the staff's customer service were excellent. The condition of the facilities was acceptable. The only areas for improvement I can see are: the rooms could do with some shelves or something similar, and above all the cleanliness of the toilets, although I must say that this is more a problem with the people than with the hostel, which tries to keep them as clean as possible. There is no lift, ah! It would also be nice if the lights in the corridors could be dimmed, as when you open the door at night, a blinding light floods into the room! But honestly, for the price and location, it's a highly recommended option, especially if you're travelling with teenagers rather than children.

The location is excellent, very close to King’s Cross, which is definitely one of the biggest positive points of this hostel and makes getting around London very easy. The reception staff is friendly. The Brazilian guy in charge of breakfast is super kind and attentive. I would also like to highlight Adam, the blond guy with curly hair, who tried to help me when the washing machine was not working. I was told that there is a special key used for these situations, but unfortunately it was lost. Still, his attitude was very helpful and professional. The guy who did my check-in, Lachlan, was also very kind. The common areas are nice and pleasant to spend time in, and the breakfast is good for the price. However, there are some negative points: the beds are extremely uncomfortable, and the bed sheets were dirty and yellowish, which should be improved urgently. The atmosphere inside the rooms, in particular, did not feel like that of a typical youth or traveler hostel. At times, it felt more like a shelter for homeless people, which is not a pleasant environment if you are looking for a traveler or social hostel experience. After mentioning this to one of the reception girls (I don’t remember her name, but she told me she is from Lithuania), she explained that because London is such an expensive city, many people with family or work-related problems end up staying in places like this. I understand and empathize with this situation, but hostels and hotels are usually meant for travelers, and when the room atmosphere is not traveler-oriented, it is not a pleasant environment for guests looking for that experience. In summary, great location and very friendly staff, but issues with comfort and the atmosphere inside the rooms.

I recently stayed at Clink261 near King’s Cross, and overall, it was a good budget-friendly experience. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from King’s Cross and St Pancras Station, which makes travelling around London extremely easy. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the check-in process was smooth. The hostel is basic but comfortable. The beds have individual lights and charging ports, which is convenient. Security is good, and I felt safe throughout my stay. The shared kitchen and common area are useful if you want to cook or relax. However, the rooms are quite small, especially the dorms, and can feel crowded when everyone has luggage. Some areas, like the corridors and bathrooms, could be cleaner and better ventilated at times. It’s not a place for privacy or a luxury stay — but for the price, it works well. Overall: A solid option for short stays, solo travellers, and anyone looking for a cheap, central hostel in London.

Love this place. It’s my first time traveling to London and I’m very happy with the hostel. It’s very close to King’s Cross St. Pancras station. Easy to go to the British Museum and the Big Ben. Just feel stops away from the major theaters and the Regent street. Perfect if you want to see the famous tourist attractions in London. Facility is adequate, if you are looking for toilets made with gold choose somewhere else, otherwise it has all the facilities you will need. You can freely use the kitchen in the basement floor from 12:00pm. Breakfast is provided at 5.5 pounds. Laundry is 5pounds for the wash and 2 pounds for the dry, very fair price cuz I can chuck all my winter clothes in at once. The room is pretty decent with individual lockers and charging stations for each bed. But be aware that the locker is not big enough to put suitcases bigger than 24 inches. But you can just put your larger suitcases in the open area in the room with your own lock on and it’s safe. Remember to bring a lock for the locker.

The hostels is close to King's Cross and the location is really well-served day/night. I booked a room for girls (4 beds) and I tried the breakfast. The room was really small, only for sleep (no chairs, sofá, tables, wardrobe), no space for walking. Anyway, the hostels has a lovely kitchen and common area, where you can stay and relax instead of staying alone in the small bedroom. You can cook with other guests and make nice friends like I did. Staff was very nice and welcoming, cleaning is okay. This hostels is really cheap and nice if you travel alone.

It is a nice place overall, though a little bit controversial. I am definitely glad to stay there - the location is amazing, breakfast is nutritious and surprisingly diverse! But the rooms are very dense, too many people and lack of free space. Very noisy because of groups. But still - highly recommended in terms of value for money!

My boots were taken from me by staff while I was sleeping. When I asked them to call the cops, they found my boots in the office claiming that I need to lock them in a specific locker, that matches the bed number, with a padlock because they said people get entire suitcases left behind. The kitchen was super clean and of restaurant quality. Free tea. Hot showers. Laundry. Great location. I'd definitely stay here again. It's worth it if you lock up your valuables and sleep with your keys inside your clothes. Thanks Clink .

Honestly, I give this place five stars because when you’re paying £20 for somewhere to stay for a night in central London, you get what you pay for. I honestly didn’t mind this place at all, and actually enjoyed the stay more than I expected I would. The lounge spaces were big, with lots of charging ports, and upstairs in the room it was pretty tidy, along with the bathrooms and showers. The staff were really nice and talkative during check-in, so I’d definitely be willing to stay here again. However, just in case this is your first time using a youth hostel, there’s a couple things I would note. The windows in the hostel were open all night, which meant noise was let in, however there is an expectation that this will be the case. Being in a room with 10 people, with Covid, I expected this would happen so bought ear plugs with me and I would recommend you do too as it was a great help. Considering that it is winter, I actually woke up in the night feeling quite warm, so the windows didn’t affect the temperature at all. The lockers to keep your things in our downstairs near reception, so remember a padlock, but during the night I actually kept my bag on my bed for convenience. I had no issues here whatsoever, maybe my only thing would be if I could have an extra few pillows on the bed as that wasn’t particularly comfy. But perhaps this is something you can ask for. Overall, it was decent for what you’re paying for.

Nice hostel, stayed for one night in a private twin room with a bunk bed. Clean toilets and showers, friendly staff, accommodations for luggage were great and we were able to check in early for a small fee. Room was stuffy due to heat but a fan was provided. Overall good experience and would stay again, fine for the price if you don’t need many amenities
