I would refer to one review that the man wrote nicely, I don't know what people expect for this price, I'm satisfied, there will always be someone who will find fault, that's for sure

This place should not be allowed to call itself a hotel. From the moment I walked in, we regretted booking. Mold is literally everywhere, on the walls, around the windows, even in the bathroom. Thereβs a loose tile on the floor you can lift up, which seems like a health hazard waiting to happen. The shower was disgusting, stained, smelly, and clearly not cleaned properly. The walls are cracked, and the TV doesnβt even work. As if that wasnβt enough, the flush button on the toilet was missing, so you can imagine how fun that was. There was no fire alarm in the room, which is not just unacceptable, itβs dangerous. This place feels like itβs falling apart and completely neglected. Do yourself a favor: spend your money literally anywhere else. This isnβt budget accommodation, itβs just unsafe and unsanitary.

Honest and open review stay July 2025 Awful stay - incredibly moldy with a stench. Rooms are not properly vented, springs are coming out of mattresses. Poor breakfast options with most tasting sour. Was meant to stay an additional night but checked out earlier due to the issues. Got home and started itching everywhere the day after! The reception guy was nice though. Was booked through booking.com and the hotel raised the issue with the hotel but they hotel refused to give a refund for the last night I was not there

We checked in and the manager in the morning was nice, however our shower door came off the railing and the Handel was broken but we were never offered another room. He just made it possible for the shower to work not using one door. When we got back that night my husband kept feeling bites and when we pulled back the sheets we found large bed bugs I t he bed and his back covered in bites (the small double room). We went down to the night manager (it was 4am). He did not seem surpsised and instructed me to contact the company we booked through to cancel our their end. When the co oany called him he became very aggressive an tried to take our key when our stuff was still upstairs, I managed to grab it before he did from the counter. He was shouting at us for having them call him, even though he asked us to do this and at one point we were ready to contact the police. We asked to call his manager and were told no. His attitude changed when we videod him speaking to us like that. This hotel has bed bugs!!!! And they are not fixing it. We had to leave at 4am without anywhere to stay (as another room was not offered) and had to leave with no transport open.

This is a budget hotel and it does the job well. Location is convenient to get around the city easily. Cora at the breakfast room is a great smile in the morning. A true asset to the hotel. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Good towels. Mini fridge and coffee tea facilities are nice. Communication prestay was good. Check-in was good, efficient and pleasant. It would be nice to have a key to enter the hotel as the night guy is not always there and grumpy. Waiting the get the key to the room is not good. Make a key pad perhaps if you don't want to hand out keys. Overall, good value for money. Our friends live nearby and we'd use the hotel again. Try to get one of the bigger rooms though.

Reasonable price, close to public transport, good breakfast. Exactly what I wanted for a work trip.

Probably the worst hotel ever and the manager is a waste of space we would have been better off sleeping in the car Hopefully this saves someone eles from this horror of a hotel The heating in our room went off in the middle of the night,I was told by the manager it was my fault as I didn't go down to let them know at 3am !! Even though I called the phone and it went to answer machine. Then we had no hot water so could not shower reported this and was told the boiler had gone off and it would take 3 minutes to heat up 3 hours later and still no hot water Went to have breakfast no hot water for tea or coffee lack of hot breakfast options Other guested came in and was told quite rudely, you have 10 minutes to eat and you can only have what is there 2 dried up sausages crusty egg and cold bake beans, the toaster took 10 minutes to warm the bread not even toast it I had messaged the hotel prior to staying and informed them that 2 of our guests on our booking was vegan and he had reassured me that the breakfast was a continental breakfast buffet and there would be vegan options provided There was bread jam and juice the manager said I should have listed all the vegan food and drink required as he didn't know they couldn't have cows milk and should have requested oat or soya milk His response was bread and juice was acceptable options Was told by the same lady that come to tell us the hot water would be 3 minutes to inform the manager when checking out of the issues we had Told the manger and his response was had completed our booking as we told him when we was leaving and shouldn't have stayed if it was that bad !! We explained that the lady told us to speak to him when checking out The condition of the room was shocking to say the least The manager said that he was not giving us any refund or compensation and was shocked that we said that was bad customer service The manager was rude and uninterested in anything we had to say. We said that he hadn't even apologised for any of the issues

Absolutely disgusting! Β£120 a night, donβt pay it and donβt book it. Went up to the room and asked for a refund within 20 minutes as the smell of the dampness was unbearable and the place was beyond a joke. 0βοΈ very dated and can get more for your money sleeping in the underground

Not great for demanding customers, but for regular budget travelers its really good. Nice breakfasts with clean breakfast room, rest hotel not asi clean as I would like to, but for its price I can overlook it. Good personal, helpful and always available.

Fair price basic hotel close to an overground station, one stop from The Tower, we did not expect anything more. Unfortunately, we were woken up at 4am by a receptionist yelling and having an argument with guests in another room. Whatever the problem was, why would you attempt to resolve it by disturbing all other guests in the entire hotel?
