Beautiful park just outside of Chingford. Easy access (a short drive) outside of town and you will find yourself enjoying idyllic scenery and wildlife. Hotel rooms are a bit dated but in good shape. New Scouts HQ is gorgeous. Adventures reception is clean and easy to find. Park is well maintained with many notable and scenic areas.

Great campsite and Scout HQ. Been several times for events and camping. Lots of history on site to see and learn about. Good camping facilities and areas with great views on some. Woodlands with lots of wildlife.

Wonderful experience just being at this historical spot. Home of Scouting worldwide, you can feel the history here. The location is very nice, and there is a footpath that borders the property. There are wild stag and some woods on the grounds. Easy access by public transport from London. Well worth the visit.

A nice venue and the staff are very helpful. Access is via a typically tight country lane. The right hand car park for customers has little in the way of lighting and any blue badge holders have quite a distance between their allocated spaces and Reception. There is a drop off drive that swings round to Reception. There wasn't any covered paths to reach the function suite building to the back of Reception, which was a nuisance for all the guests in full evening dress!! The staff tried their best to help though with a specific brand of umbrellas that the facility must have bought in for guests at the functions there.

Nice surroundings, comfy rooms and a good shower. Excellent buffet breakfast. There's also a bar, but draught beer choice is lager only.... Lots of bottles though if that floats your boat. Sadly no evening meal option, but plenty of local takeaways who will deliver!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The smart clean rooms have very comfy beds and a good assortment of hotel essentials such as a decent selection of tea and coffee in the rooms as well as a couple of biscuits and soaps shampoos and quality towels. Nice views of the surrounding scout estate. Has WiFi and also has a bar area as well as the restaurant area which has a decent quality and selection for breakfast. Would definitely recommend if looking for a Georgian house style hotel close to London

Lovely environs, situated in park lands. The staff are very friendly and the rooms were spotless. Breakfast was great. Not public transport friendly though. Chingford station is about 2.5km away.
