Great place to stay went for a weekend getaway for 2 and was amazed how polite Marina was. Once in the door and at reception I was greeted by a warm and friendly Welcome. The meal was served with a smile which make me wanna come back. Will deffo come back in future!

I stay at the premier in very regularly after chemotherapy for respite, the hotel is very clean and very good service and staff are very polite and respectful. Very helpful I'd recommend anyone to stay here at West Thurrock. The managers are lovely and always help if you need to solve any problem and rectify any problems with the rooms, their always there to help. I thank all the staff at premier inn for their hospitality.id like thank Shane and marina especially for their help with my stay.

Definitely would NEVER use this hotel chain again. Firstly we were charged twice for our room. Majority of emails went unanswered so we called in to see them 3 weeks later. After waiting for about 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge we were there - there was construction of new check in counters at the time with no way of letting them know anyone was waiting - we finally saw the manager Sandy. She informed us this happens often and it will be resolved. Eventually it was. However 3 weeks later we get a £35 parking infringement for parking at the hotel to resolve the overcharge. Our email regarding this was totally ignored. If we hadn't been overcharged or it had been resolved in a timely fashion we wouldn't have had to return. If someone had had the courtesy to be present when people turned up - there were others also waiting - we wouldn't have taken so long there. This charge was totally needless. I would not recommend them ever and have let others know when they are traveling to England to find different accommodation. On a positive note Marina was very helpful when we needed something printed.

Normally fine with Premier - some of the comfiest beds going. Unfortunately, our room had no opening windows, and very noisy air-conditioning, hence, virtually no sleep. Not exactly a relaxing experience. Very basic amenities in rooms now compared to past visits, yet prices all significantly hiked since our last visit. I suppose we all have to make sacrifices to the great god profit!!

The worst Premier Inn bed I've ever slept in, I'm sure it's not been replaced since Lenny Henry slept in it all those years ago. The room was like a sauna on arrival and the air con barely worked, the duvet was thick enough for the artic environment. We always thought of Premier Inn as a reliable place to stay and get a good sleep, this experience has definitely put me off. Thankfully it was only one night!

We booked a disabled/wheelchair - accessible room as my wife has mobilty problems and cannot use a bath, but arrived to find none were available! She had to resort to using crutches to get to the alternative room offered which meant a vary long (and painfull) trek down a corridor to a room with a bath! We made do, but the experience was not at all what we hoped for. I have to say the staff were very apologetic, but all in all this was not the restfull break we hoped for.

Room was once again not serviced over a 2 day stay, sheets do not fit bed. Luckily this week we were advised of the car park conditions and entering our reg into system, this was not advised last week so let's hope no fine coming our way to dispute. Other guests booking in also unaware until we pointed it out ongoing issues with housekeeping and a certain young rude receptionist. Unable to use online complaint form as the calendar does not populate! One way to keep complaints low. Restaurant waitress was great as was the food. Unfortunately we would not recommend and returned due to location only

The systems seemed to be down, and there were a number of guests waiting to be booked in. One member of staff (Scarlet) I found to be a bit rude and abrupt. She was abrupt to my partner when explaining the reason why they needed names for fire safety. Plus, she was rude to a guest when asking for the booking reference number. She snatched the phone out of the gentleman's hand so she could type the number in quickly. The other members of staff were more friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was cold at first due to a draft coming from the window, which I managed to sort out. Moan over, great location if you are going to shop at lakeside

Without doubt the worst Premier Inn I've stayed in! Rooms are as you'd expect, but with no WiFi or phone signal in the room doing any work or chatting to family was impossible. Service in the restaurant was poor, I was left for 20 mins without any one taking my dessert order, finally gave up and then had to wait 10 mins to pay! A couple of the staff were friendly the rest either ignore you or walk around looking thoroughly fed up, which is to be honest exactly how I felt!
