Stayed here for a while. Incredibly Judgy and shady staff, apart from a few. Will enter your room when you're not there and steal your items and claim it's ok, saying "it's just an inspection" because they need to "search for drugs." The rooms are tiny and smell horrible, with no real security. The receptionists sleep in the reception area. The rooms are next to a busy road so expect to get no sleep

Considering this looks upmarket from the outside one would expect luxury inside but it is a cramped, sweaty little hotel with toi nany rooms. So they are all like a shoe box with barely enough room to swing a cocktoach. Reception was sour. I said the room nunber i was visiting and the receptionist shook his head as if there was nobsuch number. Its in the basement i told him . He said to the right to the tight was a wall. The lift was in the left. In the room was I thought an unmade bed but it was the curtainbs which haf fallen. Off the bracket with the pole. I eft after 2 hours

When I need to live for sudden situations, I select this hotel and live there 4 month. Generally speaking the hotel workers are kind and when asked they help you. I didn’t see and security problems. The rooms are avarage but consider the price its good to live in a one bed room with a bathroom. Overall I like my 4 month time here.

First off, I want to say that this place is very cheap - but that’s it. We were a group of 4 and I already prepaid the room for the night. As soon as we talked to someone on the front desk, they tell you that a Β£50 deposit is needed and we will get it back via lock box when we check out. (Gave us a card with phone numbers) Going into the room, was so disgustingly dirty, everything was stained - from the bedsheets, walls, floor and bathroom. Hot water worked but barely. Bed itself was like a single sheet on top of springs. Can’t even call it a mattress. The pillow had only 1/4 of actual filling inside it. Was uncomfortable to sleep and felt very unsafe throughout the entire stay. Going to check out very early morning and there was no one in the front desk, called the numbers on the card provided using 4 different mobiles. It wasn’t even connected to a line and the call just cancelled out. So our Β£50 got stolen by them :/ I understand if you’re in a pinch and want to get a room at this place just for 1 night, but we were too - and honestly I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, no matter what struggle your in - find somewhere else. If I could give negative stars I would. Idk how this place is even operating and how it meets health guidelines.

I would say going by the quality of the rooms this is more of low low budget hotel. The price you will pay is base only on the location rather than the quality of the rooms on offer. I would say that the owner would benefit of refurbished the all place to be honest. Loads of chip and old furniture falling apart, the cleaning is not top, I would say just basic depending on your standards. For me is pretty low. The bed wasn't the worse to be honest.

Worst hotel in the entire london. They don't refund your security deposit of 50Β£. They don't have even a single person as a staff member. Only a receptionist will be there occasionally. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have stayed in well over 1000 hotels in my life, but the London Continental Hotel is definitely not a hotel. Filthy rooms, floors filthy, bed sheets filthy, filthy flat pillow, filthy bed cover, no hot water, so you cannot shower if you're staying in winter. I was due to stay for 3 nights, but after the first night, I left, because the place was too dirty, and I couldn't take a shower due to the cold water. Imagine a hotel, which is this expensive, but has filthy rooms and no running hot water. The people running this place should be ashamed of themselves, if they ever do show their faces to customers anyway. I checked out 2 nights in advance, I don't want a refund, I don't even want my 50Β£ deposit back. They can have it, they can get double pay on my remaining 2 nights when some other person checks in. Bottom line, the most disgusting, filthy hotel with no running hot water during winter. Absurd and shameful from the people who run this place.

Is this the worst hotel in London? That I can't answer, but it's certainly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If there was an option for 0 stars this would firmly sit in it. From what I can tell my room used to be a cupboard, I'm more impressed how they managed to fit a bed in here. The bedding is disgusting. The curtains don't quite shut. The spare pillow in the cupboard could have been there for 30 years. I can't review the shower as there's no way in hell I'm using it. The toilet flushes so I guess that's something. Avoid at all costs. If this is the last available hotel in London just go home and wait until something else becomes available. You're welcome.

Absolutely fuming with the money we paided for a 4 bedroom room. Room had bloody hand prints on the walls, bogies down the side of my bed on the wall. Bathroom stunk, the actual room was giving jeffery dahmer vibes in there. Staff was rude, paid 50Β£ damage deposit still haven’t received back. Do not recommend.
