   The staff are very nice and polite also very welcoming but are as thick as bricks when it comes to knowledge on fish keeping, they will not sell you fish for a fish bowl as they feel its not healthy for the fish but are happy to sell you tanks smaller then fish bowls, they dont understand the eco system and how it works clearly not fish keepers went to the guys in stetchford no questions asked and iv got the fish I need for my bowl. Thanks pets at home (stechford). Avoid the Sheldon branch as they are quite dumb when it comes to sales. Directors should fire the lot of em

From the very moment I walked into the Sheldon Pets at Home store, she greeted me with such genuine warmth and friendliness that it instantly made my day. I asked if I could leave some items on the counter while I picked up a few more, and without hesitation she smiled and said, “No problem at all!” — a small gesture that made my shopping experience so much easier. Later, when I was trying to sign into the Pets at Home app at the till, she noticed I was struggling and patiently waited, offering help without a hint of rush or frustration. And then, seeing me juggling all my bags, she took the initiative on her own to help carry everything out to my car — I was honestly blown away! Amy truly went above and beyond, showing genuine care and compassion from start to finish. I’ve been visiting Pets at Home for years, but I’ve never experienced such outstanding customer service. She puts the customer at the heart of everything she does and represents the company’s values perfectly. Amy deserves real recognition for her kindness, initiative, and exceptional service — Pets at Home is incredibly lucky to have her!

   Fab staff, were great with recommending fish that would love happily together and what we'd need. All the fish are happy, healthy and doing well... The guppies are incredibly colourful, constantly moving and make for a lively aquarium. We brought a Molly fish that the assistant mentioned might be pregnant, she popped out a few babies a week ago and they are doing well. It was a good thing we had a big tank :) All in all a lovely experience and we are enjoying the new additions!
