Well stocked and well staffed, smiley staff and very helpful and attentive. Excellent location however parking can be difficult during peak times and weekends as this part of princess Alice get very busy.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Have most thingdbi need for my kitten, cat and dog. However, sometimes lack variety of other brands, such as the freeze dried raw food, they mostly have their own. My dog likes Ella and freeze dried raw food recipe, the pellets are smaller and she really enjoys them. She absolutely refused their own brand. Some items not found in store are available online.
Terrible service! Do not go. Tried to get a Syrian hamster today like I’ve had before, told me the cage wasn’t big enough meanwhile it’s massive with tubes all around, and layered. More than enough for a Syrian hamster to run around in. However they say this whilst keeping the same hamster in a small box no where near their own requirements given. Avoid this place at all costs.
Absolutely Awful Experience – Avoid! I paid £50 at Pets at Home groomers and what I got back was shocking – my poor dog looked scorched! Like most dogs, he isn’t a fan of grooming, but instead of showing care and patience, the clearly untrained and uncaring staff couldn’t handle him. My dogs breed are profound to getting slighted matted and that could of been handled with common sense. Their “solution” was to return him to me in an awful state… and still charge the full £50. I’ve since taken him to a proper, professional groomer who worked calmly and kindly with him, proving that a nervous dog can be groomed without trauma or butchery. First - Pets at homes negligence. Second - professional care and love. I would strongly advise avoiding Pets at Home grooming unless your dog is a complete statue.
The shop is great, but the grooming salon is disappointing. The listed price was £49 when I booked, and I paid a £15 deposit. However, when they confirmed my appointment, the staff told me the price was actually £65—a 33% increase. I wouldn’t have minded paying £65 if that had been clearly stated from the start. Unfortunately, I only found out about the price change during the final confirmation, and the deposit is non-refundable. The staff explained over the phone that the website price wasn’t updated, which I find unacceptable—especially for a chain store. It’s simply not fair to customers.

Went in for a click and collect order and I had a problem with some of my order, but it was quickly well resolved and staff were very helpful and friendly. Edd who dealt with my order seemed new, but was so lovely and very professional.
Very friendly staff, very helpful, if they hvnt got it, I'd be very surprised they hv a wide variety of things for ur beloved pet. Very clean.
So helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Ed and Dan really helped make my family's day. I didnt know if i could get more fish for our tank. I was able to call up and ask what to do. Dan arranged for me to come up with a water sample and was able to test our water in minutes then Ed helped us pick out new fish. My children loved the experience. Gotta be honest I don't normally remember to leave reviews, but my children reminded me of how kind and helpful Ed and team had been so I had to write one this time. Ps it's also very refreshing to actually be able to call the place your going to and speak with the people in the shop instead of some head office call centre somewhere 100miles away.
I have been going to Pet's at Home to get advice and items for my new puppy Merlin and for our rescue cat's (I've never had cat's before!) Pet's at Home have been extremely helpful with advice and ordering items for me! When I go in with Merlin they always greet Merlin and remember his name and give him a fuss. It's a big store but they take the time to remember your pets name and come from behind the counter to fuss your dog! The personal touch means a lot to me!
