   First time coming into this pets at home store and I really enjoyed my time here. I looked at the fish in the tanks and they were friendly swimming by the glass to say hi. I bought some gravel and tap water conditioner for my boyfriends minnow fish. I was politely served by Zara who provided the best customer service and even asked me to download the app, which I did and I got 10% off. Thank you :-)

   Very friendly staff and very well stocked shop. A member helped us find a product too. 5* We came across a large dog pee up some tins of food which were o the floor. It's a shame the dog owner couldn't report the accident as it was a large quantity..

   The way Pets at Home keep their animals is absolutely appalling, and sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve noticed it. On my recent visit, I saw multiple dead fish left in a filthy, overstocked tank filled with aggressive cichlids. There were no plants or hiding spaces, and several fish were clearly injured and stressed - it’s just not a nice or humane way to keep animals. When I told the staff, they seemed completely unbothered and reluctant to do anything to help. It was heartbreaking to watch suffering fish ignored in plain sight. It’s clear the animals are treated as nothing more than a money maker, with no genuine care for their welfare. This level of neglect is disgusting and unacceptable. Do not shop here - I certainly won’t ever again.

   Normally excellent service and great staff at the Solihull store, however, the service we received today was lousy. We called to check if a certain fish in stock, and without staff going to visibly check, they confirmed that fish was in stock. We drove to the shop, and not surprisingly, this fish was out of stock. I told the lady we called earlier and was told was it was in stock. She did not offer an apology or nothing, she just told us that they may have some back in stock in 2 or 3 weeks, so just keep calling to check or try some other branches. Normally great service at this branch, not today thought unfortunately.

   Needed a large bag of dog food.... It was a lot cheaper than buying on line. So paid a flying visit, straight in & straight out, no dramas. Will have to visit again as the fox's like it !

   It was really well stocked. They had everything I went in for, plus some. The Catit Pixi range they had in was really good. I hadn't seen all the items before. They usually just have the water fountain and not the full range, so I was very impressed. Vets for pets upstairs were amazing. The staff gave me so much advice and couldn't have been nicer. I was only booking an appointment, but they answered all my questions, not even related to the appointment.

   A big store with a great supply of goods. Lacks the knowledge of smaller independent pet shops who really take an interest in your pet though, has an in-house grooming parlour which you need to prebook.

   I would strongly recommend that if you love you pet you keep away from here , very poor service and they charge astronomical amounts of money. If you take my advice your truly love pet might stand a chance to live a longer life. Terrible place keep well away

   Perfect shop for animal lovers.Inside you can find stuff with smile and help,can do grooming for your lovely dog or cat. You can find Guinea pigs or hamster ,to do happy your children. Outside big parking and all what you want for your animal.
