The women who work on the pharmacy counter are generally great. However Dennis the pharmacist is rude and dismissive and has zero customer service skills. In the past year alone I have complained to head office about his tone when I went in to see if they could do blood pressure checks. He used a too small sleeve, left me with bruises that came up in less than 20 minutes, and was really awful when I pointed out I was in a lot of pain. The bruise photos did get emailed to head office. Another time he denied there were any antibiotics on the system that I had been prescribed after my asthma check up, said he 'double checked' and there was nothing and waved me away dismissively. I went back after checking my NHS app, spoke to a really nice woman who listened and looked on the system. Dennis overheard and had to get involved despite me stating repeatedly that I only wanted to speak to one person ie not him. The antibiotics were on the system all along, Dennis hadn't checked properly. I pointed out I'd been left without these gor a potential chest infection over a bank holiday period. Woman I spoke to was apologetic at least. Dennis needs sacking. He's just awful and I get very stressed out if I go to collect anything and he's there.

I unfortunately had a negative experience. Followed around store by one of the staff, her name card said Deb. She was staring with an intimidating manner. I gave her a friendly smile after realising she was staring at me from across the shop, but was met with an unwelcoming glare, making me feel uncomfortable. She followed me for about 15 minutes, even to the till. Her eyes were fixed on me the entire time i was in there, the only time she looked away was when she nodded to another woman in my direction with a snarl expression, indicating her to stare at me too. After i paid for my items, she proceeded to follow me out the store after realising that the scanner didn't beep and that i didn't steal. She then shouted at me outside the store. I found this to be very racially abusive as i was treated unfairly and singled out to other customers in the store, and was shouted at for entering a store and looking to purchase items, something that anyone should feel comfortable doing. She seemed to have an issue with me simply for existing. I won't be returning and i hope that these staff, especially Deb, can be trained to deliver an inclusive customer service, instead of this hostile attitude i was met with.

My recent visit to this store was extremely upsetting and disturbing. My friends and I were casually browsing through the makeup, deciding on what to purchase in which we were met with an intimidating stare by one of the staff members. We glanced over and gave a smile, hoping it would settle down the tense atmosphere however it did not. This unsettling, perceptibly racially motivated glance had lasted around the whole of the time we were within that section, so around 10 minutes or so. We attempted to take no notice of this distressing stare, in which the employee had not moved at all and had her eyes locked on us, hoping we had misunderstood the situation and she was Infact staring at someone else. Nonetheless, we were completely correct as when it came to moving to a different section of the store, she followed. We carried on as normal towards the till and paid for our items, during which she decided to follow us straight to the till, right beside the exit. (No doubt she was hoping that the scanners wouldβve gone off in hopes that she caught our βshopliftingβ act) Once we left the store, she followed us outside, shouting something inaudible at us, in attempts to cause a scene. We politely asked what the issue was yet she stormed back inside shouting βu heard meβ No one deserves to be treated in such a prejudiced manner, just for simply existing. This discriminatory and hostile act would be something that you would expect multiple decades ago, not within contemporary society. No professionalism was taken into consideration during this spiteful and hateful act, something no corporation should be tolerating. we were made to feel unwelcome and looked down upon within a public setting, which is not right at all. I sincerely hope that the management takes this matter serious, as equality should be something every employee should embrace, especially within 2025.

My recent visit to this store was extremely distressing. My friends and I were browsing normally, yet one of the employees watched us continuously for nearly 15 minutes. The way we were stared at made us feel uncomfortable, singled out, and unwelcome from the moment we walked in. It is deeply upsetting to feel judged simply for existing in a space where we intended to shop like everyone else. What made the situation even more alarming was what happened as we left. The employee followed us outside, shouting at one of my friends and holding a scanner as if she expected wrongdoing. Being confronted in this way was shocking, humiliating, and entirely unnecessary. It left us feeling racially targeted and disrespected, and it turned what should have been a simple shopping trip into a genuinely upsetting experience. I sincerely hope the management takes this matter seriously and ensures that all customers are treated with professionalism, respect, and fairness moving forward. No one should ever be made to feel the way we did.

I had a very negative experience at this store, intimidated by staff staring while I applied lipgloss in a makeup store which is apparently not allowed as I am aware now due to a staff member screaming after me after leaving the store that I shouldn't be applying my own lipgloss while being in that store. I was followed to the till and still being watched leaving the store (no doubt she was waiting for the security scanner to go off). I have no problem listening to the rules of the store I was unaware of this policy and I would have stopped straight away if I was told verbally. However, being stared at and followed instead of told made me feel initimdated and unwelcome I felt a element of racial discrimination and it was very unprofessional and spiteful. l sincerely hope this does not happen to anyone else again.

Boots is a great store always well stocked with reasonable and more upmarket products and knowledgeable staff

Another wasted journey here today, this time on a Sunday. Often not open when it says they are. Annoying when you have to pay to park, get the kids out of the car, to find the shutters are down when you get there.

3 visits to collect prescription. First time not in stock and assistant needed customer service training very abrupt. Second time closed for lunch. Third time open but busy with only 1 serving and 3 staff chatting out the back one of them being the store manager. This store is very short staffed recently but when they are there they do not put the customer first

Pharmacy is a joke. They break for lunch 1pm - 2pm rather than staggering lunches. 2pm is then a mad rush. Prices are much more than other stores like Wilko or Home Bargains so I expect some kind of service. Instead it's long queues, unhelpful staff and a lack of stock in comparison to other stores. Just go to another store in Stourbridge to avoid the attitude, more stock availability and get a lower price.

Seemed to only have one staff member working who was selective in the way in which she served. Friendly enough. Was advised when returning an item I had to go to a larger store which was quite inconvenient as I had already waited to be served and had a newborn in tow. Did however get a few goodies which I was happy with hence 3*.
