Ken did a transmission service on my partner's f56 mini. Very reasonably priced and also changed the engine oil with me supplying it. Absolutely fantastic place and lovely chap, cannot recommend enough. You may struggle to get through on the phone, it is only the 1 gentleman Ken working there. If he is behind or busy he will not answer, I strongly advise turning up in person to get booked in advance. I booked 2 weeks before and the job was done on the day it was booked in.
ken is truly an Auto Transmission Guru! A gem of a gentleman. Old school courtesy and politeness. He keeps up to date with Technology Data from Germany/ Holland the USA so don't look elsewhere . A fraction of what dealership and Indy garages charge. He has serviced my Mercedes ML 7 Speed G tronic and will be doing my Classic W123 230E then my daughters W204 C180. He is a trove of knowledge. Has data on any car you take to him. Trust him with your eyes closed.!!! Cannot praise the service and warm welcome enough.
Ken is truly a national treasure (as another review described). He is patient, polite and very knowledgeable. Quoted at a very competitive price for my mercedes e class 7 speed auto transmission rebuild, Ken has vast amount of knowledge on auto transmission, and talked with me with great passion, clearly he loves what he is doing. The car drives very smoothly now given it has done 160k miles, it's more smooth than at 50k miles. Highly recommend

I have a Mercedes 2005 Automatic and the gearbox isn't selecting correctly. I was recommended Ken by a Mechanic for this issue. I arrived at 5.45am and instantly Ken hooked up the diagnosis machine and found my fault immediately. Turns out that it's not the gearbox but a solonoid or chip problem. I have a bit more work to do with my repair sourcing a cost effective remedy, but Ken was so helpful and wouldn't take any money for his time. I had a look in his workshop and it's just Gearboxes. If you want a proper oldskool specialist then go and see him. He won't rip you off like a dealer or a "wanna be' gearbox company. Ken (Transmission Technology) knows his stuff and I will 100% go to him first with any issues that I have.
Top class from Ken, did a diagnostic on my discovery and advised issue is not the transmission. Very friendly and helpful. Wouldn't accept any money for his time too. People like Ken are few and far between. We 100% go to him for any auto transmission needs in the future. Top man.
