   DO NOT GET A PIERCING DONE AT LOVISA! I had a nose piercing done and during my appointment, the piercing device broke, leaving pieces temporarily lodged in my nose. The procedure was performed with excessive force, and the piercing was improperly placed and began closing within 24 hours. When I returned to the store, I was told that the store did not offer appropriate jewelry lengths to correct this. Additionally, the piercer did not change gloves or sterilise equipment between completing my piercing and my niece’s piercing, which led to my niece developing an infection. Despite several attempts to resolve this directly with your store manager, I was unable to obtain a satisfactory response as she refused to deal with the matter until I spoke to the regional manager.

   Would not recommend! Went there to get my baby’s ears pierced. The lady talked us into going for the most expensive piercing because “it heals quicker”. At first they said £35 and then when we agreed to getting it done they said £65 for both ears and it’s actually £35 for one ear. The lady advised that if the piercing comes off (as it’s a baby it usually happens) then to just come into store we will put it back in for you and not to do it yourself at home. So had my baby’s ears done and the next morning one of the earrings had fallen out. I panicked and took her straight to the store first thing in the morning as soon as they opened only to be told that I was advised wrong and that they would have to re pierce baby’s ears and that I would have to pay for the service again. Nothing was done about the false information I was given. The piercing has fell out of baby’s ears multiple times now which shows they’re rubbish quality not worth the price or the hassle.

   Bought some hair clips here last week. Went home and found that one of them is not of that good quality (rough margins). Went to the store again to request a refund. The staff declined it. It is understandable that this store has the policy of not refunding any hair accessories for hygiene reasons. (NOTE THAT THEY DO NOT REFUND HAIR ACCESSORIES, Please please don’t buy here if you have any concerns with such). But the key problem is that the staff was very rude (quite arrogant) and told me to call Customer services if I have any issue. I asked for the staff’s name so when talking to customer service I may say I’ve spoken to specific staff at the store about this. They say they don’t give out names. No proof of such bad communication even if I want to complain. No refund policy. Bad customer services. I will never go to this store ever again.

   Just want to say a massive thank you!! Came in today for a piercing for my 13 year old. You made her feel at such ease and was a brilliant experience for her. The staff were amazing and i will honestly say they were far better then any other piercing places i have ever been. They were calm, explained things throughly and talked to her. Amazing this was the bullring store.

   Visited here a few weeks ago and was greeted by very chirpy Emilie who guided me on the best jewellery for my style and budget. I was really impressed with the customer service that day despite having the impression they were understaffed and busy. I was never made to feel rushed, and chose some jewellery that Emilie picked out for me. Great quality and good range of styles available. Will definitely return.
