   Visited on 1st December. Excellent service from knowledgable and friendly staff. Been a customer there for over 25 years and never been disappointed. Have had bespoke jewellery made, watches repaired and serviced and straps and batteries replaced . They have never failed us whether the job was big or small. Another purchase for a Christmas present made today. Would not shop anywhere else for jewellery . A key family business in Lichfield undoubtedly having been here for over a quarter of a century.

I received a very professional service and a nice chat with one of the lady employees, she was very kind as I started to get emotional regarding the circumstances.    I was on the look out for a certain style engagement ring last year. I have worked in the Birmingham jewellery quarter for many years and was expecting to visit and look around there. By chan e on a day off I visited City Jewellers and spoke to a lovely member of staff called Chris. She asked what I had in mind and I explained the specific style I was hoping to find. I was offered a seat and Chris went to find something that matched my requirements. I never expected to find 'the one' that day. But I did. It was the first ring I saw. I just knew it was perfect. I had it resized and was told a few weeks, but it was available early. I asked if they would hold onto it for me due to my plans to propose being further away, and they did. Amazing service. And thank you.

   Terrible customer service, rude and obnoxious. No updates on collection, had to ring them and it was already done. Asked for refund on the phone and the owner got aggressive and put the phone down. Avoid like the plague

   After buying my partner’s engagement ring back in January this year from City Jewellers of Lichfield, we have had countless issues with losing diamonds and shoddy work from their previous ring resizer. CJoL have rectified every issue without hesitation by replacing the missing diamonds, and even replacing their ring sizer. They even went to the extent of having the ring entirely remade for us. Unfortunately, yet again after issues, we returned for around the 4th time in only 10 months. I think the main issue falls down to the design of the ring, which is unfair to pin the blame on a fine company as they haven’t made or designed this ring. Adam, the manager, has been excellent, professional and empathetic and gave us a full refund, and even went to the lengths to hand deliver us a bottle of wine to apologise for an issue that wasn’t his fault. I’m aware the company has made a loss on this ring, but they have been excellent in trying to get it right for us and I can only thank them, in particular Adam Hogg, for their fine efforts.

   Shopped Thursday 24 June for two items both for ladies one a leaving present and the other a 21st birthday present. Adam and the ladies very helpful had time for me not rushed presents wrapped beautifully. I would never go anywhere else and always recommend City Jewellers to family and friends.
