   Amazing! The owner is incredibly friendly and makes an amazing breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back. The location is great, 20 minutes away from the centre.

   Absolutely loved my stay here. Firstly, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Secondly, the rooms were really clean, warm and cosy. Thirdly, the breakfast was the best. Everything was freshly cooked and the service was great too. To top it off, only a 15 min walk from the city centre. Would definitely look to stay there again when I next visit York.

   Hi just had two days away with my two sisters stayed here Arthur and his wife were very accommodating nothing was too much I had a double room lovely but bathroom was very small when as in the twin room bathroom was much bigger. Breakfast was good plenty of choice

   5⭐️ A Wonderful Stay in York! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Arthur greeted us with genuine kindness, helped park our car, and carried my luggage into the hotel, such a lovely start to our stay. I’d accidentally booked a large family room, but Arthur sorted it out for us without any fuss, which we really appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were also given some a great tip for a local pub round the corner. Breakfast was absolutely spot on fresh, tasty, and a great start to the day. This hotel is a little gem of a find and we’ve already rebooked for future stays. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

   I had a lovely stay at the Clifton Bridge Hotel. Arthur and his team gave me a warm welcome and tips about the area. I really like the location, especially to walk and run by the river, either south to reach town easily or north to enjoy the nature. I enjoyed the comfort of my room, and the breakfast was brilliant and relaxing. Will definitely recommend and think of booking again when visiting next time.

   Arthur the owner is a very human and warm person. The room is clean , quiet and enough whites , tea and coffe supplies. Breakfast is very abundant and nice. It is right in front of a lovely park and close to walk to the city centre by the river. The lounge and breakfast area is very comfortable full of natural light and some nice terrace garden to sit outside.

   I booked this accommodation last minute due to IBIS York did not have my reservation. I stay over for the two nights in York on a visit to my customer at Leeds and Market Weighton . Owner (Arthur ) pick me up at central York and give me a ride to station on next morning. In the end , I realized owner ever spent 6 weeks at my country , what a coincidence to meet the person who has same culture awareness /living experience at York. The single room is tidy ,well appointed and best of all clean and comfortable. The shower with decent pressure and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast selection is good, well prepared, and lots of it. A really good place to stay, great hosting. I will be back

   Location is a beautiful 15 minute walk along the river into the city. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast was perfect but the main thing is the staff.... Arthur couldn't do enough for you making this a truly lovely experience. Will come back

   I stayed a few years ago with 4 friends, we had the best time, the room was massive plenty of room for us all. Only a 20 min walk into the city centre along the river, the breakfast was brilliant and lots of it all cooked fresh. We loved it that much we're returning in a few weeks time for 2 nights instead of one.
