   Stayed in room 10 New Year’s Eve. The room was a good size the bathroom was lovely BUT the sliding door into the bathroom didn’t meet by about 4 inches not ideal the covering on the door was hanging off. Some threadbare carpets up and down. Lady on reception lovely would I stay again No

   Lovely hotel with the jewel in the crown being the restaurant. At 55 years old, I had the best pie I have ever had. Great location, not many decent hotels in this neck if the woods, will definitely use again

   Room was just a short walk from the hotel in what was once a house. The room was asic but very clean. Nice friendly atmosphere in the hotel. Most of the staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Food was average and a little expensive. Good range of beers.

   Last min getaway. Hotel well placed for short walk along tow path into Skipton town centre. Or walk along main road if you wish. Few mins either way Staff were great and very helpful. Room we had was vary spacious. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold selections. I did enjoy my full cooked one. Would go back no problem.

   We have stayed at this hotel, three times with our 2 dogs, in the past year. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always want to ensure you have a great stay. The breakfasts are lovely, with plenty of choice, and our dogs enjoy their sausages. We have also eaten at the restaurant in the evenings, and we have never been disappointed. The location is great, and in walking distance of the town centre, we particularly enjoy using the towpath. We look forward to returning again next year, and we highly recommend this hotel, if you are visiting the Skipton area.

   Absolutely awful. Attended a function there. Room bare and unwelcoming. Food dreadful both in quality and service. Food for 90 was ordered there wasn't enough to feed 40 people and what was served was of a very poor standard , bland and poor quality. Not worth the price we paid . Absolutely no attention to detail. A very poor representative of the hospitality industry . I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

   Super location a 5 minute walk from the centre. On a main road but noise wasn't an issue. We were in a standard room which was small but fine. Sliding door on the bathroom was poorly fit and didn't close properly so was rendered pointless - not a problem if you would happily use a bathroom without privacy....?!

   Went here for a work Christmas meal and it was brilliant. Staff were really helpful especially when I found it difficult to navigate my child's pram. Food was delicious and they created a lovely atmosphere for us.

   Amazing food, wonderful staff, clean and modern room. Lived our 2 night G&T break, it was excellent value for money. Only reason I've not given 5 star was because the bed wasn't to my liking .

   Just been to the Herriot in Skipton for the second time this year. This time with the family. It was a great weekend. Chris & the staff made us feel so welcome. Evening meals & breakfasts excellent. We will be back again next year! Would highly recommend. Thank you Chris.
