   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an excellent experience at Prime Vets in Chesterfield, visiting multiple times for our Rottweiler Demi’s progesterone testing and also for her Animal Health Certificate. The team were consistently professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly calm and reassuring with her throughout. Everything was explained clearly, appointments were efficient, and the care Demi received was outstanding at every visit. Accurate progesterone testing was especially important to us as responsible breeders @Vom Haus Schutz, and Prime Vets gave us complete confidence in both the results and the advice provided. A friendly, well-run practice with a genuinely high standard of care. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Prime Vets to anyone, particularly those involved in breeding or requiring travel documentation.

   First time visiting with my dog, reception was tidy and very clean. Plenty of space to park and a nice grassy area outside. Vet was absolutely excellent and clearly very knowledgeable. Really helpful and offered to change my pets medication to something cheaper, and as effective. Cannot rate highly enough. If I could give six stars I would.

   Cannot recommend this practice enough. Both my dog and my mum’s cat are registered here. My dog has allergies and even with careful management at home sometimes has a flare than needs vet attention. All the vets know him and make such a fuss, as do the techs and reception staff. They really understand his breed and the best way to get him assessed. I have been to previous specialist vet’s who have hyped him up and then suggested sedation for simple bloods. At prime he trots in and offers a paw!! Sadly yesterday I took my mum to have her cat put to sleep after a short period of rapid deterioration. Dinu and the nurse were absolutely amazing, offering comfort and reassurance that he had been given every opportunity and that this was the final kindness. I will be forever grateful for making the experience peaceful and I cannot recommend this team enough. Thank you all at Prime!

   Great. They were brilliant with Socks on friday, he went in for sedation to have his nails clipped, blood test done and biopsy taken, they let me stay with him till he fell asleep with the sedation and let me wait in main reception till he was done and then let me sit with him again till he came round from it. Our previous vets never did that, and he used to get incredibly stressed out when I left him.

   Very thankful for the patience and understanding when my old dog had a couple of hiccups trying to find pain relief that suited her. Reception staff were lovely a nurse took the trouble to sit and listen to my concerns and the whims of my dog and find me an alternative. I was also refunded for the medicines which wasn’t expected but very much appreciated. Thank you.

   I recently registered with the practice and I'm very impressed. The two vets we've seen have been lovely. Happy to take the time to talk and don't rush you out. The receptionist made sure we saw the same vet for a follow up for one of our cats. That was very much appreciated as we saw a different vet each time in the last place. I like that the prices are on display, they don't push you into expensive treatment, but suggest things that you can try first

   Myself and my partner unfortunately lost our cat who was run over and taken to this vets. From the moment we got there they were so caring, warm and respectful of us. They made the experience so much easier for us and ensured that we were happy with every decision. We picked up his ashes and fur today and gave us the most beautiful tube for his ashes and a card from the practice. Thank you for making this painful experience so much easier for us
