The vets and the staffs take great care of my dogs. They genuinely care about the dogs. One of my dogs is 15 years old and required a few big surgeries with the vets. The surgeries are all successful, my dog is getting better and better! Highly recommend this vet practice!!

Vets4Pets Drakehouse are a great choice for dogs who are fearful of going to the vets. The reception staff, veterinary nurses and vets always make an effort to make a fuss of our anxious rescue, make her feel more calm and are gentle with her. We can't thank them enough for how they have treated her and all of our dogs (especially her clear favourite, Danny). It's also great that they are located in the shop as she loves going through the shop first, sniffing out all of the smells, then picking up a treat afterwards.

I can’t recommend this clinic enough! The veterinarians here provide outstanding care with warmth and professionalism. They take the time to explain treatments clearly and follow up to check on my pets. Whether it’s for routine visits or emergencies, I trust them completely. My pets couldn’t be in better hands!

Quoted £35 for a Cat De Mat with a 15-minute appointment. It took 5 minutes to complete. I politely asked the vet if he could quickly clip the cat's nails. He obliged with no words. Came to pay and the bill had gone up from £35 to £61. They charged me £25 for the clipping of the nails and changed the quote for the demat to £38. Nice staff and manager, but really bad communication and IMO this comes down to greed. Left feeling that I’d be taken advantage of financially. It’s a shame people are so short sighted and money hungry. I wouldn’t use this vet again.

Alex the vet who saw our cat today (and yesterday) is lovely. She genuinely cares about the animals in her care which reassured us our cat was in the best hands. She explained all the treatment he had and what we would need to do at home, and asked us to call and let her know how he was the next day - even if he was fine. Yes, vets are expensive, but that's what insurance is for and aren't all our fur babies worth it? A dirt-cheap vet would make me question the quality of the care. Hooray for the NHS and not having to pay similar amounts for our own healthcare.

The vet herself is lovely, but it's almost impossible to get a same day appointment, always the excuse of a vet has called in sick, but then you turn up and there's no one else there waiting. Incredibly expensive, charged over £80 for 10 tablets and 40ml of medication, the latter you can buy online for £14.99/125ml. Also noticed they refuse to deal direct with insurers and all treatment has to be paid for on the spot, thankfully we've not been in that position yet but it's a big enough reason to make us want to take our pup elsewhere when we can.

Rude receptionist. Not a great experience. Our dog has an upset stomach and we needed some powder to put on his food. We've received it from the Worksop vets4pets before and told the lady on the phone. Was told they had it in stock so we could collect it. When we arrived we were told they don't stock it but pets at home does. We asked a lady at pets at home and she told us they don't stock it and that the vets just say they stock stuff all the time. When I asked the receptionist if they had anything else she just said "I don't think so. Ask pets at home" then proceeded to type on the computer and ignore us stood there. As we were walking away she said to the other receptionist "it's not hard is it". It is hard when your lying and sending us in circles

The vet saved my pup, Jeff, when he was really poorly. Alex was just amazing and you could tell just so concerned about him. The only thing that surprised me was that the vet asked us to come back to check how he was and then charged as £25. I wouldn't have bothered if I'd have known that she was going to do this as he was a lot better. I would have just called. I didn't complain as I was so happy he was ok. I'll just think twice next time.

The reception staff are always helpful+on this occasion could tell I was upset with Norman, got me an appointment the next day when I rang in at 9am. The treatment he then got from Alex+the plan forward was reassuring. I came away very satisfied as usual.. Thankyou
