Refurbed gym is an excellent facility and they seem to have finally fixed the WiFi but they have introduced Reformer Pilates which seems impossible to book onto. Keep trying to time it right so that looking at the app when the classes change to bookable but so many want to book on it’s impossible. Managed to get 18th on the waiting list for a weeks time today after wasting a few hours trying, they claim that joining the waiting list (up to 18 long) is recommended but if you then get offered a space within an hour of it starting unable to cancel and risk getting blocked. If they are going to spend all that money on reformer equipment need enough sessions. Don’t join on the promise of reformer Pilates but do if you want to a good gym. Also the central customer service isn’t very responsive and often just ignores messages when problems with membership or the app, the front desk team try to help but most issues need referring to the central customer services.

I was thinking to join the Gym but just scrolled through out the comments and I can see clear another gym with rude and disrespectful staff. I am wondering when actually owners gonna do something. It’s 21st century and people are demanding for what they paying for. Shame cuz I was looking for nice gym with spa but I will be looking for better. All I see is owner response to comments and then after that u see even worse comments from customers so its clearly states owner doesn’t care about customer experience like in most of UK. UK wake up!

Visited for the first time with my friends on a guest pass, and I must say — what an amazing experience! I’ve been to several fitness centres before, but this one truly stands out. The steam room, jacuzzi, and sauna were exceptional. The cleanliness and atmosphere were top-notch, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. I’d definitely love to join as a full member next year!

Gym is dated, can get a decent work out but is very limited compared to other gyms with the amount of machines, only a small variety on offer to use. Spa is decent only issue is the locker rooms, showers are disgusting most of the time with dirty tracked all through them.

Use to be a decent gym but has gradually gone downhill. Gym machines are dated and poorly maintained, something is always broken, some machines have been removed and not replaced. Customer service is abysmal, I don't know how the manager still has a job there, the head office customer service manager isn't much better - I recommend virgin hire some better representatives in this respect! The new gym I've joined has more uptodate machines, better manitained and the manager is a helpful friendly person..... For less than half the monthly price. Don't waste your money with on this virgin shambles!

Nice enough place , a little busy and no privacy in gym layout . For the cost of the membership they should provide lockers that lock , not "oh by the way you need to provide your own padlock ". No mention of it while you we're taking our money and couldn't even provide/sell me one so i could use the facilities on my first visit. Not a great 1st impression , hopefully this is hiccup and it improves.

Gym is fine, but very disspointed with the service. On THREE seperate occasions my partner phoned to try and cancel his membership. All three times the person on the phone said it had been cancelled, but every time his bank was still charged his membership fee. It took him cancelling the direct debit for the gym to phone him and ask why he wasnt paying his membership, even though three people told him it was successfuly cancelled! This has led to his account going into an unauthorised overdraft and has caused a whole hoard of issues for him. Do better virgin. Will never be going back.
