My cat has just spent 9 nights at Almora and has returned home in perfect condition! The cattery is beautifully appointed in little chalets overlooking a pretty garden. Very clean. The owners are lovely too. I’ll definitely be booking in there again when I go away next time
We was worried when Katie and Phil retired as our cat loved almora however Daryl and Jenny have taken it to another level. Amazing people who look after our 2 cats so well that we can travel without worry. People aren't quick enough to shout about success now a days but they are are both brilliant and our cats Benji and Oscar are both well looked after here and we couldn't recommend anywhere else Keep up the amazing works guys ❤️
Can not recommend this pace high enough, have taken my parents cat during family crisis but with the upmost care and compassion for our family circumstances. Have used them for many family vacations and I can honestly say best place I have ever sent my cats ,
Highly recommended! We have used Almora several times to board our cats, and it was clear to see that Rocket & Scampy had enjoyed their stay this year. The owners are passionate about caring for their guests, the pens are spacious and clean and the grounds are well maintained, we even received an update with photos on the second day which was a really nice touch and put our minds at ease. I wouldn't dream about taking them anywhere else!
1st time we have used Almora for our cats Alicia & Daisy, they’re not used to catteries and we were worried how Daisy in particular would react, but on arrival to Almora which is in a beautiful setting with ample land and well-kept large pens , we were reassured by Phil (who is clearly very knowledgeable about cat behaviour that they would be fine). We got a postcard update with pics from Phil & Katy letting us know that both cats were doing fine. And on collection, we received a comprehensive welfare daily report. We will definitely be using Phil and Katy again at Almora.
Super cattery. I have been using Almora for 3 years now. My 3 cats are always happy & i feel really at ease leaving our 3 fur babies with these lovely people. They are always very accommodating. Absolutely lovely surroundings for our cats to sit and watch the world go by. Highly recommended!
We love taking our cat's to Almora and chatting to Phil and Katie when we are there. They area lovely couple who care deeply about their cattery, it's residents and their owners too! We can't recommend this cattery enough. The pens are spacious and the cats are well looked after. Our cats never want to leave to go back home. That says something about the care they receive. Beautiful place with the most caring owners. We leave our two cats knowing they will be extremely well looked after. When we collect them they are always groomed, settled and happy. It's great to have somewhere we can trust so we can enjoy our time away. Couldn't recommend them enough :)
Almora Cattery is a fabulous cattery which I have used for over 15 years now. I have no hesitation in recommending them and Kate who runs the cattery clearly loves what she does and the cats adore her. The luxury pens are always extremely clean and you can see they are very well maintained and looked after. I know my cat is perfectly happy and looked after when staying here.
