Solihull branch = I saw terrible abuse from the staff towards an obviously distressed vulnerable customer. I am quite disgusted with what I witnessed . I am still in shock that they can act this way with absolutely zero compassion or remorse.
Disappointing experience to be honest. Usually love a tk maxx, but it was understaffed and more of a jumble sale. Was lacking organisation and 2/3 staff on till when the queue has surplus of 20 people waiting is a joke.
Wow just read the reviews . So cashiers/floor walkers ! Do I asked about some sunglasses , asked for a price enquiry. One white lady without checking insisted that they were not on sale and the price was correct, and her whole attitude was rude, rolling eyes and very condescending. I then pleaded with her to recheck the price . She said she had and it was correct. So I walked around the store and purchased the glasses. And looked at me in a really disturbing manner, a colleague of hers said to me … would you like to speak to the manager? I declined 3 times … and said it’s ok now I have bought them for £60. A manager was walking past this lovely cashier spoke to her manager, who apologised and rechecked the price . The sunglasses were £28 !!!!! I was literally shaking in anger … complacency in your job . Entitled behaviour , supremacy !! And the young girl … who supported the older blonde lady with dreadful over processed hair middle aged and tall and thin . Started arguing with me on the SHOP floor and with customers around and the manager !! I mean just wow !! I will be ringing head office. These king of people need to be reported .
Just came to the shop with my family and well behaved dog, and i was kicked out the shop as the dogs are not allowed inside the shop ! There is no sign saying that dogs are not allowed The website states that dogs are allowed, so which one is it ? Shop a bit messy and always very busy but has a very good quality clothing
I love shopping at TK Maxx — the prices are great and the return policy is very convenient. But sadly, I had a bad experience with one of the cashiers. The woman who served me (a white lady) was cold and unfriendly. She didn’t smile, made me feel uncomfortable, and it almost felt like she wanted to throw my shopping at me. But as soon as the next customer, who was white, came to the till, she was all smiles and very polite. It felt like clear racism, and it honestly ruined my mood. I hope TK Maxx trains their staff better because everyone deserves to be treated with respect, no matter their background. It was upsetting and disappointing, especially in such a diverse country. She just ruined my day shame on her.
Poor customer service. I went down the store and the colleague on the tills was plain rude. I noticed on the tills the item wasn’t reflecting the actual price on the price tag and had informed the colleague serving me and she rolled her eyes. Plain rude.
My go to place to get a branded stuff at good rate Though these days there handbag collection isn't quite good And a bit more organised presentation of ladies clothing will be more help ful
Absolutely disgusting service from this branch of Tk Maxx by so called manager 'Zara Zalat'. My elderly mother went in to purchase items which one was face razors. She was refused this purchase because the manager assumed that 'she was purchasing them for her teenage daughter'. She had no right to refuse this service on no sufficient grounds as my mother had id and herself went to the tills to purchase this item. She can't question who what or why she's purchasing these as it's none of her business. This was a a personal attack & one of ego. Very un professional. She was also speaking over us and being very condescending by shouting in our faces and spelling out her name and screaming for us to report her. The poor staff member at the till was scared to serve us and said she would lose her job - you can tell that the way they treat there staff is also appalling where they have no freedom of speech. Very negligent, they need to treat people with compassion, care and have a duty to a customer. From reading the reviews below I've noticed that other people have also to e same issue with rude managements and staff overall. The selection is very messy in this store and not one of the nicer tk maxx branches. You're better off giving other tk maxx's a chance and avoid this one.
