Fantastic gym to workout in, the staff are nice and gym kept tidy & sauna is fantastic. It’s only ever untidy during busy hours. Mornings and Night times are the best time to go
The admin is shocking and nobody seems to have any record of data. Even though I have been a member for several years, I regularly get stopped at the gate because they missed updating membership etc. They NEVER reply to my emails. Was overcharged as well for several months earlier this year. Shocking to treat a loyal customer like this. The only reason why I am still there is because it has a gym, a pool with sauna and steam bath, but last time I went it smelled as if something had died in there.
Messy, unkept, weights everywhere, not reracked or even in the right place. Staff just sit on their phones looking like they can't wait to sniff a bag at the weekend. Hugely overpriced for a old dirty gym. You may as well go to the local council gym for a fraction of the cost.
Me and my partner used to pay £15 entry as pay as you go twice a month to use sauna facilities. Now they asking £30 per person its ridiculous we live to far to get membership like they forcing people to get. You used to get £60 pounds of us that way every month guess what... now you get nothing because you get to greedy £30 entry fee pfff its not alton towers... its a gym
Unhappy customer sins I joined in February you didn’t give me any notice that you was going to do any refurbishment and I come most days and ones a week with my son so we had to travel a extra 10 minutes making it a 30 minute drive so it’s a hour round trip to Kirkstall banntyn then have to pay £7 to enter with my son and there customer was absolutely rubbish! Also because you was doing the refurbishment I couldn’t bring any of my family or friends to your gym to use my free pass and now a couple of weeks down the line I come to use my free pass but no! on the day I was given the pass you it you only have 30 days to use it but they don’t tell you that so I planned to come with my cousin today and we’ve both rushed home to get sorted and enjoy are evening training and possibly and future customer just to have it ruined by your stupid system! no way are we paying 15 on top of my £64 a month absolute joke fuming will be complaining at the reception as well. Also the refurbishments are rubbish could have done much better !! There was a time you got 3 free passes and you guys had some common courtesy and decent customer service. Open mic night Sunday, was fantastic just a pity people missed out on this opportunity for artists trying to entertain . People must come along and see what their missing a great night/evening, Lovey location a nice ambiance relaxing, just to enjoy the moment. Hopefully this will get more popular as was a great evening to listen to people’s own songs and some of the well know ones as well . GREAT NIGHT hope it continues.
tired facilities and equipment not being maintained, pool area dirty and struggle to get either food or a drink at most times. latest this week 'members' smoking weed in car park after a work out on an evening
Not good. Joined on a 3 month contract and offered a "fuel start programme" free along with personnal training plan. The training plan was pointless, met trainer who was showing me equipment and giving me a training plan who then suggested I visit him at home as he had a gym in his garage and pay him £25 instead of the gyms Personal training rate. ( I declined his kind offer ) I then got a call to say the fuel start was not taking place at cookridge but could go to Kirkstall instead. Manager from Kirkstall called to confirm this, but it would not be free I would have to pay . Equipment forever out of use, training program terrible, showers filthy. Decided after 2 months not to keep going and join an alternative gym. Checked if I needed to do anything as signed 3 month contract told " no that's fine, just cancle your direct debit to make sure" had a call month after as my DD had been declined, explained, person on phone said she would call me back if any problems. Hears nothing then 3 months later getting threterned by debt collectors!
Lovely gym. Very relaxed. Lots of different machines. Great amount of space. It's never been to busy when I have been. Good pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
Fantastic facilities with everything you could possibly need in a health club. Also has hairdressing and beauty on the premises. The gym is extremely well equipped and the staff very knowledgeable and approachable. Refreshments in the form of Starbucks with a large seating area available.
