   Great woodland circular trail around the dam, unusual building converted into nice coffee shop/venue..... All on the level. About 45 min easy walk... Loads of waterfowl. Free 2 hour parking, but need to get ticket to display in car.

   Beautiful, scenic and picturesque place to visit for anyone who loves nature,walking or spend time with family. There are restaurants and cafes around the site and some close too it. The parking is free upto 2 hrs then u have to pay and there are spaces but it does get busy but it'd definitely worth the visit. It's perfect for a walk, to take pictures and see nature and is a large dam and is a fair walk and has hilly edges that are trails and walkways. There's lots to explore and it's perfect for walking the dog too. It's definitely a place to visit in Wakefield and enjoy the scenery.

   Lovely place for a walk with all the ingredients. Cafe half way, good path, wild life and things to look at and wrap it up with an ice cream from the Icecream van. Free car park but busy may have to wait to get parked but worth it.

   This is a lovely place to visit for a walk, you can walk all way round the dam or just halfway round by crossing the supplied bridge, and for fitter walker’s they have extended walks that go into the woods and along an old railroad. There’s a caffe and two pubs handy plus there’s a monitored car park that’s free for the first 2 hours 10/10
