Nearly empty restaurant but told to wait 5 minutes to be seated. Food bland, cold, dry and lacking any sort of culinary expertise... Staff friendly enough but let down by the kitchen. No warm water, soap or working hand dryer in either the men's or ladies toilets..

Pleasant enough place and atmosphere, most staff nice enough but loads of staff standing around doing nothing other than staring at you while your trying to digest your £13, dry overcooked pattie in a stale brioche bun, desperately washing it down with overpriced flat coke. Kids meal burnt and soggy nachos, quite a feat to manage both on one dish. Thick shake was good, that's about it.Also no soap in mens so hope staff have own toilets?, yeah cant recommend and won't ever return. Sorry Jack..

To start with, the staff were pleasant and helpful. My wife and I ordered a starter and main. The restaurant was quite busy and we waited about 20mins for the starters to arrive. We both liked the presentation and quality of the starters - chicken wings. When the dishes were removed we then had over half hour wait for our meals. Sirloin steak and a notorious jack burger. The steak was not as described the chips and beans were cold. We send this meal back. We could see the staff looking at the meal and touching the chips, eventually a staff member came over and offered to replace the meal. Some ten mis later the replacement meal arrived, by which time I had finnished my meal. We then had to ask for cutlery. So much for a meal with my wife. During our time there at least 10 other people got up and left, due to the wait for meals. Excuse given didn't expect to be busy.....A city centre restaurant on a Saturday evening!

The restaurant is in completely the wrong place with competition from Nando's, Ask 1888 & La Tasca. We sat in and we were the only customers. The cleanliness of the restaurant could do with being looked at but other than the odd bits its a nice place. The starters came after our mains and they weren't really nice. The burgers were nice tho and probably some of the nicest in town. Bit on the pricey side but hey...we all learn. Ed's Diner would of been a better choice but like I said..learn from our mistakes.

Chips -or fries- were perfect. The burger was huge but I was instantly full after one bite and I was starving. The milkshake I had was rather small compared to proper american diners where they give you a tall glass and a metal cup with a refill. I wanted another drink but the staff almost completely oblivious and were were like the only customers at that time. Left disappointed.
