Very loud inside, the hanging kebab was okay but the turkey was really dry and the chap serving was a little stingy with the gravy as you weren't allowed to have your own pot. Millionaires brownie was incredible though and decorations were lovely for Christmas!

We reserved a table at The Botanist in Liverpool One for our group on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. On arrival we had a little wait to be seen though it did not appear to be that busy which was a little surprising. We were then seated by the friendly front desk person and had a nice location in an area that was like a conservatory on the side of the building which was nicely decorated and bright. The servers promptly handed us menus and took our drink orders which arrived quite quickly. We decided to try the hanging steak kebab, hanging chicken kebab, chicken burger and regular burger. After a short but reasonable wait our food arrived and looked great. The kebabs being presented on the hanging skewer with the sauce poured from the top was a nice and novel way to present the food. It was great to say that the food tasted just as good as it looked and our overall experience was good. As time passed the restaurant started to fill and was quite busy by the time we left so if you are thinking of going for dinner at a regular time it would be recommended to make a reservation at the weekend at least. Overall it was a nice visit following a slow start and we enjoyed some well presented and tasty food.

The service was absolutely amazing and they are super accommodating as they are a dog friendly restaurant. The staff, especially Niamh, was super sweet, friendly and provided excellent service, and I have never ever been served by someone as amazing as her. This woman should have an award just for her kindness alone. The food was unbelievable and I am just completely lost for words. The food was beautifully presented and was absolutely mouth watering. I am a picky eater and every restaurant I have been to, I’ve had to send food back for different reasons, but there was absolutely no fault in this food and it is the best food I have ever had in my eighteen years on this earth. It was so good, that I had to call the Chef out. He was super sweet and truly has a gift for the culinary arts. The staff don’t make you feel pressured to leave the restaurant, and the atmosphere is cozy and the decor is honestly gorgeous. If you don’t dine here, you haven’t lived.

Food was lovely, nice to have live music and the little plantpot of popcorn was cute. We received friendly service from Shauna and all the staff thank you :)

Really enjoyed our meal here and they could accommodate the 8 of us. Their 'thing' are the hanging kebabs (meat and veggie options). Our waitress was delightful and chatty and I hope all the other were as excellent as she was. The Albert Dock is a great venue anyway to visit so why not grab your food here, too.

I just love the hanging kebabs, especially the chicken & chorizo & try & come when I'm visiting home. The cocktails are delicious. I brought my mum & she's never been & dishes loved it as much as me!

A great bar restaurant on the top floor of Liverpool One, up in Chavasse Park area. A huge outdoor area that gets the sun throughout the day and night, this is a local favourite in the summer time. Inside, there are two areas- bar and restaurant. The bar area can get a little crammed when it's too cold to go outside. The ground floor restaurant area is nicely laid out with some private dining areas also. The upstairs is restaurant only. The fit out is beautiful. As expected from a Living Ventures original design and fit-out. Food and service are both a good standard. Can be a little difficult to find, as it's not somewhere you walk passed.

Pork belly sunday roast, the pork was cooked to perfection and fell apart. We paid the £10.95 for the extra four sides, as you can see the pigs and blankets didn’t look great but they tasted it. The cabbage was amazing, one of our fav sides, stuffing balls were also really good but the cauliflower cheese was awfully, rather than being creamy it was watery. The sides that came with the dinner, were the greens, carrots and roasties we really enjoyed these and as you can see the roasties were lovely and crispy. We enjoyed this roast dinner and the atmosphere was perfect as always, would return again to try the lamb roast as it was sold out when we went.
