Facilities are good, could use better. maintenance where there is wear and tear, and more regular hygiene checks near soft play but otherwise good and staff are polite

Have visited twice so far in the summer holidays. The first time the “floats and fun” session we had booked for was not put in place until I enquired. The second time we had again booked and paid in advance to be told on arrival that there was not availability in the teaching pool. The teaching pool is a lot warmer than the main pool and more appropriate for infants, which we have. Not only is there absolutely no purpose to booking and paying in advance but you can’t guarantee the advertised timetable will be followed by staff. We have booked in advance for £30 this schools holidays of advertised swimming sessions which have not been as advertised and there is nothing offered by customer service in regards to this. Although Arc invites feedback it does not seem to be taken onboard. There is also an issue with cleanliness and the centre has become very tired - the one family changing room available had broken lock on the door and we had to clean feaces off the baby changing platform to be able to use.

Nice facilities, but let down by cleanliness in my experience To be totally fair, I can't fault the staff based on my limited interactions. From calling ahead to check pool availability, to speaking with the front desk and chatting with a lifeguard, everyone was professional and polite. That said, the main pool was unfortunately the dirtiest I’ve been in for quite some time. While the changing rooms and surrounding pool area seemed clean and in line with what you’d expect from a leisure centre, the main 25m pool itself was noticeably unclean. I wore goggles and typically swim front crawl, so I had a clear view of the pool floor, sides, and built-in overflow edges. The floor was grubby, with visible grit, debris, and plasters. The edges were also really dirty, some green was also present, and really quite off-putting. Pool temperature was good, and again, the staff were great. However, the cleanliness of the pool significantly impacted the overall experience—it just didn’t feel pleasant to swim in. I’d love to make this my regular local pool and also bring my kids along, but I was left disappointed. My visit was made in May 2025, so perhaps this has since been addressed.

Great bright well lit swimming pool 25 m. Only few issues. No safety flags in place for swimmers so if you a backstroke swimmer be careful as you need to make your own references to stop hitting your head against wall. One operational timing clock at one end of pool. Other timing clock to other end of pool is to the side but not operational. Traing cards for drills, endurance, stroke development available but no session wrist recording bands at this location from the sponsored provider of cards. Shower drainage issue as the door metal drain traps don't extend to size of door opening. Soap suds etc flow out onto floor from post swim with soapy water. Old tiles but everything is spotlessly clean and fresh, you can tell areas are well cleaned by staff. More importantly staff are friendly and engaging and the general vibe seems uplifting and upbeat. Lifeguards are alert too and will not hesitate to check status of someone. Good variety of times throughout week for lane swimmers. Other swimmers, experienced so far, are very considerate for each other and Lane discipline generally adhered to naturally. Think this is a great pool especially the natural light and it has seating area for observers with refreshmentsreasonably priced (based on water only). Parking spaces are large and the disabled spaces are very accessible and close to entrance. I'd check before going to see if all your accessibility requirements are met.

Most often we are here in the pool, but today we came just quietly to spend time with the children on the game. It's quite a good setting and affordable prices. There is a cafe and a toilet. Enough parking space .

Very nice centre, friendly staff. The customers need sterner policing on wearing shoes in the pool changing area.

Pool is lovely, not too chlorinated, designated lane swimming. Shame I only got about ten minutes in the pool because the lady on reception didn't tell me it was closing soon. Couldn't say anything when I left because there was load of people waiting! Private pool party maybe? Haven't been able to find a program for pool availability on the website.

Visited on a Sunday. Went for a family swim in the teacher pool. It was over run by older kids throwing watering cans and lobbing balls. Too noisy so a little kids pools where you'd think it be okay to take your two and four old without smacked in the face with flying watercans. The pool was cold both kids lips turned blue quote quickly and the changing rooms were absolutely disgusting

Great facility. Took the kids swimming, there was loads of space jn the big pool even with a few swim lanes in place. Coffee was great, I wish our local leisure centre had such good coffee! The snack and food selection looked good too. Lady on reception was very helpful as we’re on holiday so never visited before. Would definitely visit again
