   Went to my grandson 18th party 08/11/2024 Bar staff friendly ,smiling and very professional , door man very professional and made us feel very safe .. definitely 5 star treatment . Service 5 star... Venue 5 star loved it. Not one complaint from any of the party . Would really like to congratulate owner on the service and venue would highly recommend this venue .. Thank you to everyone involved , Party ranged from 18 to 83 ...

   Had our engagement party here this weekend and it was perfect! The staff were so helpful, from initial enquiry to the night itself and checked in the next day to make sure we’d enjoyed everything. Would definitely recommend if you’re having a party and want a private city centre venue!

   An amazing atmosphere and beautiful place. The staff were all super friendly. The mix between live music and a DJ made a fun night. The new management were so welcoming and attentive and made sure everyone was having a great time. They were especially friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend this place to others and will be back again soon.

   I want to start this by first saying, I never ever post reviews. But honestly this place annoyed me so much I felt I had to. Awful service. 10:30pm, Enticed in by a nice gentleman at the front door. First impressions were that it looked to be a lovely enjoyable bar and not too busy(we were able to get a table straight away). Went to buy a round of drinks. Including myself there was 4 other people at the bar being served, and there was two serving staff behind the bar. I don’t know what I did to obviously upset them, but by standing there for at least 30 minutes, I obviously must have done something… as people both come and went from the bar and I was still stood waiting! Ended up leaving with my partner after getting fed up of waiting around like a spare part. Safe to say I doubt I’ll be visiting again.

   Invited in by the suave doorman! Lovely secret bar, nice decor and ambiance. However, cocktails awful, I took it back, she tasted the watery liquid and did another one, I had to stop her adding more cranberry again and ruining number two drink. ladies toilets were a disgrace. Water puddles and stank! We did comment on the way out, I’m not sure it was a surprise Wouldn’t bother returning

   Stumbled across this amazing place we was greeted by a geezer at the door he was awesome. walking in it felt rather magical as we walked through a book case door the atmosphere was awesome the drinks was bang on the staff was absolutely lovely definitely will be returning for another great night soon...

   If its the City Vaults in Cook St, it opens on Fri, had a lovly refurbishment , complete with a baby grand piano, table service, limeted capacity, guest list only.
