When it first opened years back it seemed a bit bare but it's slowly grown and become much better. Staff are nice, never had an issue here. Only downside is that they lack a toilet, and everyone knows shopping in TK maxx with women is no quick objective
Witnessed this store being robbed today. Shop understaffed and staff that were there were useless. 3 men in masks burgled the shop and it was like the staff didn’t care for the welfare of their customers. An old woman tried to intervene and nearly ended up on the floor. We went straight to the till to find a staff member as there was non to be seen elsewhere on the shop floor and mentioned about what was happening as clearly they must know since shop alarms were going off but they were carrying on like nothing was happening. When we mentioned about the old lady that was shaken up they just ignored us and didn’t care so we asked if they had any security and the shop worker said they didn’t know despite working there. There was no concern for what was unfolding around them.
Good variety of products. Car parking facilities.
I love TKMaxx but another shop that should have it's own toilets. I think all shops should share the load and provide toilets for their customers
It's a nice Tkmax, with a lift to access upstairs for those that need it. The house ware and toys are upstairs. I bought a few toys and books for my grandson. Very reasonably priced. Parking free and in front of the building.
Not sure what it is about all TK max stores but I never seem to be able to find anything easily. Yes there are thousands of products and it must be difficult to put everything in locations that are easy to see/find, but I always end up asking a staff member where items are! Stores are usually over a ground and 1st floor but there is always a lift if you need wheelchair access etc. Lots of free parking (a few hours) for all the stores on site. Products are good but do check clothing before you take home as I have bought items before that have had marks, occasional rip etc. Electronic products are of a good selection, as is the vast amount of kitchen and home products. Shoes are organised in size order so easy to go to those sections, but it's the clothing that is vast and hard to find exactly what you want without asking for assistance. There is always a bargain to be had if you are willing to hunt for a while. Thank you.
Many Brands and lower prices, you need to spend time searching for what you look for, the staff are nice and helpful especially Chole.
I am a dedicated bargain hunter and I was in my element. Bagged a gorgeous pair of trousers from Zara for only 6 pound. Got loads of ideas for gifts as well at very reasonable prices. The gent at the cash point was very helpful and polite. Another shop that will be going on my visit list.
My local store, has a good range of products, clothes and homeware. Big store. Never had an issue. All staff polite and helpful. Easy to pick up you click and collect too x
The store was lovely alchemy I went in today. Was clean and have just had new seasonal decorations put out. Staff were helpful and I always love how comfortable and easy there trolleys are.
