Took our Cockapoo for grooming today, after hearing good things. Kellie was excellent with Otis and worked her magic. She did exactly as requested and even spent a bit of extra time sorting out some matting. Highly recommend and we will be back!
Neston pet shop and grooming has now been under new ownership since July 2024. The reason I go to the shop so often is because I do my best to help raise money and get food donations to two charities close to my heart. One is Shads Legacy, dog rescue North Wales and the other is Whitegate Animal Sanctuary, Hoylake. Wirral. Jan donates a variety of animal food and treats to both charities as well as others. I love the fact that it has kept it's character of a traditional shop and It is stocking all the usual products but now has many new goodies too. I have been in a number of times and to get various items and not only are they in stock they even deliver within a reasonable distance ! If there is an item that is not in normal stock, Jan will do her best to source it for you. Jan has a vast amount of knowledge about animal care due to working with animals and animal safety previously as an RSPCA officer many years ago but also a mum of 3 dogs, sadly number 4, Sid passed away recently. The shop stocks a range of chilled treats for your dogs too and I'm sure there will be even more as the weather gets warmer. Kellie is the dog groomer. It was fascinating watching her work yesterday. It's definitely worth a visit if you have any pet needs!
Lovely staff, friendly and caring. Only issue is the price on certain items as they can be sources cheaper but for the service I receive, it's not an issue and I will continue my business here ❤️
Again price increases are beyond reasonable & products are clearly a lot cheaper elsewhere. Unfortunate as I wanted to support a local business but I cannot justify continuing to spend here when they’re charging £10-15 more than elsewhere. Very disappointed.
Just been in to pick up our burns sensitive dog food we do two 12kg bags a month for our dogs, to be told they’ve put the price up just over £11 We were then told by the young guy behind the till that we wouldn’t be able to get it anywhere els cheeper as burns only do wholesale, we then searched on internet to find the first search with exact same dog food for £46 instead of £68 with free delivery we then asked for a refund and the guy tried to tell me he couldn’t refund due to card payment yet we just that moment payed with cash and had to literally remind him that we payed with cash this all happened at the store so not even 2 minutes between purchase and we was the only costumers it seemed like he didn’t want to refund us. So folks search burns sensitive dog food on (zooplus) they also do loyalty cards as well so win win.A £1 or £2 pound increase is ok but that much of a increase is just taking it to another level and we felt annoyed and that we was being ripped off
