Honestly this place has literally gone down the pan. There overpriced and charge through the nose for things. But more importantly in regards to the financials I’ve had nothing but a bad service from them and they act like a debt collection agency. I think they forget that they’re a vets and the animals care should come first. A number of times they’ve messed up financially they’re end. But as they’re card reader wasn’t working all of a sudden were treated like we are dodging a payment and left a concerning voicemails quoting “it was pointless my dog coming in” for sample which were horrible for her to have done. We were with Altrincham for 14 years and never had service like this. It’s obviously independently owned. If you want a VET that isn’t just financially motivated and doesn’t use the brand to act professional I’d go down the road to Hartford. Really disappointed!

Our cat had stopped eating and we called into the vet to see if they would see our cat and they said bring him in straight away which we did and they gave him some drugs and booked him in for the next day and they looked at him again and had a look down his throat and did some blood tests too. Now he is feeling better and is now eating his food and alot more happy than what he was. The vet and the staff have been amazing and looked after him really well. Could not thank them enough. Even helped me sort out things with his insurance claim too.

I cannot thank James and the team for what they have done for us this year. My puppy Betty had a very bad case of hip dysplasia and insurance couldn't cover a hip replacement. In light of this and our budget they performed a different surgery and gave Betty a better quality of life. I could not recommend this team enough so grateful to you all.

Looking after you're loved pers, great. Shame I was incorrectly booked in with vet. Instead of nurse. Then charged, when I've a pet health plan. Told to make sure I'm booked in correctly next time!! Was their mistake not mine.

Very poor vets would not recommend. Took our puppy in for his first injection and check up. Vet was not very friendly or easy to talk to. I asked him to check him over and check his ears as I was worried about wax build up. He barely even looked at him said he was fine and healthy. Not even a week later we took our puppy back in worrying about an ear infection and his weight. Vet made us feel very bad saying how could we let this get so bad his ears are awful. I explained we were here last week you said he was fine. I asked you to check his ears. £100 later and and a slight ear infection walking out the vets feeling very bad about ourselves. Went back again would not answer questions and charged us more money. Feel like all they are doing is trying to make as much profit as possible and not really looking after the animals. Luckily our little puppy is fine but vet was very unapproachable, he would not answer any questions I was asking and kept dismissing me. We have taken the decision to move to a different vet after not even being there a month. I have to say it is the best decision I have ever made.

My dog went in to be neutered was left in cage without collar so was able to lick and chew wound so ended up hemorrhaging. Taken back next day for emgency op with additional cost of £500 then dropped to £200 as a good will gesture as it was done in there care. Would not operate until fully paid I did not not expect this lack of care over a minor operation I wouldn't recommend this vets to anyone.

Bear has been attending here since he was a puppy. Made lots of puppy friends. We also made a few friends and have learned so much from the very knowledgeable and helpful staff, in particular one young lady Toni. She advised what types of food, snacks and toys he should have on his puppy journey. She also introduced us to the vets upstairs where he is now registered and enjoys going to see them whenever we are in the shop.
