We visited Coia’s Café for lunch and I went for the fish and chips — honestly excellent. The batter was light, crispy, and perfectly cooked. For dessert I had waffles with ice cream and they were spot-on, proper comfort food. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, and the service deserves a shout-out: one of our group couldn’t decide between two dishes and the waiter actually let them sample the curry first. That kind of care makes a difference. It’s always busy for a reason, so I’d definitely recommend booking ahead. Coia’s delivers every time.

This establishment has been around for years although it has moved premises since I was last in Duke St ( and that was many years ago ) real authentic Italian dining food was delicious staff very attentive could not find fault with anything another eatery I shall return to 5*

I love love love this place. Highly recommended. My wife and I stopped in to try the Coia’s Breakfast (a.k.a. the full Scottish), and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere is wonderful—clean, modern, with almost an Italian vibe. The food was spectacular, the service was excellent, and the coffee options were just as impressive. Couldn’t have been happier. So glad we went.

The place is really nice and the atmosphere is really cozy and enjoyable. The staff is helpfull and attentive. The breakfast I had was really tasty, cheap and I definetly recommend it to anyone who's searching for a place to eat and wants to find a suitable solution!

Amazing authentic Scottish chip shop! Can’t rate this place enough food is world class not just the fish suppers! However it is a particular favourite of mine, my sons would rate the desserts and ice cream more! Five stars ⭐️ from a regular customer perspective. Tastes delicious you should try it for yourself!

Left an amazing review a few days ago because I've been ordering from this place every night. Tonight however I am very disappointed. I just paid £17.50 for a chicken curry and I've literally counted 10 tiny pieces of chicken in it, served in a huge tray that's half empty. This is terrible value for money, I expected something special at that price, tbh for what I got, I wouldn't even of paid a tenner. Quite disappointing, from a place I've been praising up for a fortnight. Pic included, shocking!

Very popular and busy cafe in the east of Glasgow. Nice atmosphere and good service. There was a queue to get in, so I suggest you book a table to avoid being turned away.

Food was incredible. I had the steak pie - portions are huge! All dishes come with chip shop chips. Service was great and atmosphere lovely. Will definitely be back!
