⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Celino's on Alexandra Parade absolutely deserves 5 stars! We ordered a special event cake, and it was simply brilliant – beautifully designed, delicious, and exactly what we hoped for. The attention to detail was outstanding, and you can tell a lot of care went into making it perfect. The service was friendly and professional from start to finish, making the whole experience stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing cakes and top-quality service!

Finally tried the Alexander Parade for lunch today.Deli board.on set menu was fantastic and both pizza and king prawn Spaghetti were outstanding. Only thing was price point, £59 for 1 starter, 2 mains, milk shakes amd 2 soft drinks was pretty expensive but would return

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience due to serious food safety concerns. We ordered from Celino’s on August 19th, and one of the dishes — the Allo Scoglio Pasta — contained spoiled crayfish. The smell was unmistakable and completely inedible. We didn’t eat anything else in the order out of caution, as the risk of food poisoning was too high. I grew up in Greece and know seafood — this was clearly off. Given that my mother was previously sick for weeks due to bad crayfish, we weren’t willing to take any chances and threw out the entire meal. I contacted the restaurant immediately. The manager acknowledged the issue and initially offered a replacement meal for collection only, which felt dismissive considering the seriousness of the situation. I was told I'd be called the next day by the area manager — that call never came. Eventually, someone called around 7pm and all they did was refund one meal and insinuate that we didn’t know what we were talking about. It was condescending and disappointing. Expecting us to collect a free meal from the same kitchen that nearly served us spoiled seafood is not a solution — it’s a lack of accountability. Pointing us toward Uber Eats to resolve the issue just felt like passing the buck. Food safety should be a top priority, and the lack of proper follow-up or genuine concern from the team is alarming. I hope no one else has to experience this

Foods excellent, really enjoyed it. I ordered the penne meatballs, the sauce was beautiful, meatballs were incredible. My partner ordered the soup and sandwich deal, thought £15 was steep, however the size and quality of the sandwich and soup showed why its worth the price, well worth it. Soup was 10/10. Service, hit and miss, were attentive, got us seated quickly, then after that it was radio silence. Probably an off day or short staffed. Highly recommend. Lastly, the lady with the lovely accent behind the deli counter was really friendly and definitely upsold us on the ice creams and brownies, definitely not complaining lol.

This place has a great atmosphere. Although my calzone I had was freezing in the middle and the cheese was not melted properly. The pasta dish looks like it covered in Heinz’s Tomato sauce and is sweet. Price wise it is expensive for some items for what you get! This was my first impressions but I will try it again to give it a second chance! Also I took a few pictures of the meats, hams and jars you can buy when you are in there also!

This is the best pizza I’ve had outside Italy. It’s unreal good. Also surprisingly for an Italian the chips are the best I’ve had. Everything is so so good. In terms of the breakfast the portions are really generous and always warm. The deli is also amazing so much choice and the staff have always been lovely when I have been in. One of my favourite places in Glasgow.

Nice Italian place with freshly cooked food. It has delie on site so you can stick up on italian cheese, olives cold meats or drinks. Menue is big with pasta , pizza , meats and two fish choices. All starters and mains are freshly cooked. It does lack some seasoning, salad on the plate was dry with no dressing which is disappointing. Pizza base is fantastic, freshly maid, thin and so soft but crispy , very authentic. The toppings can be refined but generous. All drinks available and great vine selection from Italy. Tables are small and good, not a fine dining. Toilets definitely need some attention. They were converted into storage room with paper all over the place and not a pleasant site. Service is attentive and fast, and fair. If they make a mistake they will rectify it. Prices are on the higher end for the overall experience and area, but food is good . It can improve on presentation and some attention to detail
