Perhaps they were just having a bad day? We ordered two pizzas in person and received this poor excuse for what could be passed off as a childβs size pizza for adult prices. When questioned about the size and lack of toppings, the lady running the show claimed that they were the 25g of dough just βnot circularβ. What? When my husband brought the pizzas home and showed me the 5 leaves of a single artichoke that we were charged Β£2 extra for - I called them and was told thatβs how they serve artichokes - only using the leaves. Excuse me? Just from other pictures in the reviews alone, Iβm calling bs. The woman offered to remake the pizzas if we brought them back within the next 10 minutes before they closed, but could not promise the new ones would be any better. At no point did she offer a discount or any incentive to return. Plus, it was cash only. Hard pass.

Excellent pizza at this new local spot (replacing the much missed Maradona). Delicious olives to start - in a very generous portion - followed by really good pizza. Friendly casual service with lots of Italian chatter to add atmosphere! An added bonus is that seats outside capture the last sun in the evening... Bliss.

Pizzologist Elm Row mirrors the property at Haymarket Terrace - friendly staff, nice atmosphere and great pizza etc at an affordable price. A small bar is well stocked with nice wines which the staff have knowledge of if you have a particular taste. The outdoor seating area is perfect for the afternoon sun (when it makes an appearance), it's also nice and chilled at the end of a quiet street which meets a busy ish street if you like a glass of wine and a bit of people watching. Child friendly as my friend's kids loved it.

This cozy spot is a real little gem for Napolitan pizza lovers. The service is really friendly. I recommend it! (They don't sell alcoholic beverages there, but you can go to the market next to it and bring some beer or wine and they charge 1Β£ per item)

If you're looking for a fantastic pizza experience, look no further than Pizzologist! This charming pizzeria in the heart of the city offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and some of the most delicious pizza you'll ever taste. What sets Pizzologist apart is the incredible friendliness and passion of the staff, but especially the pizzaiolo, Carlo. Carlo is a true master of his craft and takes the time to get to know each customer and customize their order to their liking. He has a great sense of humor and a contagious passion for pizza that will make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door. But the real standout feature of Pizzologist is, of course, the pizza. Made with only the freshest ingredients, the pizzas here are simply divine. The crust is crispy, the toppings are generous, and the flavor combinations are expertly chosen. And to top it all off, the prices are incredibly affordable for the quality of food you're getting. In conclusion, if you're in the mood for a fantastic pizza experience that's affordable, delicious, and full of personality, you have to check out Pizzologist. Carlo and his team will make sure you have a great time, and you'll leave feeling full and satisfied. I highly recommend this gem of a pizzeria!

I'd say one of the best pizzas I've ever tried. I ordered once but unfortunately the delivery wasn't the best but having their pizzas on-site is a different world. The base is soft, filling but still thin so you'll be able to enjoy the whole pizza by yourself. You can actually taste every ingredient in a perfect balance. Staff was really nice, helpful and accommodating. You'll feel the Italian warmth. They have desserts but we couldn't try them, their tiramisu is quite popular so get there soon to try it. We'll definitely come back!

Amazing little place! Just what we needed after a day on a coach from London. We were actually headed to another pizza place because this one didn't show up on Google maps locally for some reason, but we saw it and decided to stop. Really glad we did. Had the burrata and a pizza each, all fantastic, and a Nutella pizza to top it off. Would absolutely recommend! Service was brilliant too, super friendly and helpful!

Absolutely the best pizza in Edinburgh. Actually... I think it's the best pizza I've had outside of Italy. I don't write a review very often but I do want this business to succeed because there's much too much bad pizza in the world, and this one is real perfection. I suppose it also helps that the staff are so nice!
