Amazing little restaurant in the heart of the city centre! They almost always have a great value for money lunch deal! Even during Christmas! Right now, they have a Β£10 winter deal coming with a rice bowl, prawn surprise and a drink! Service is great and food is very tasty! There is limited seating so maybe better for smaller groups of people unless you want to sit outside.

Couldn't have found a better spot to get a sushi fix. Server was excellent, personable and welcoming. Food was delicious, with unique versions of various dishes. Highly recommend!

I ordered what I thought was 2 poke bowls to take away. They were both listed under poke bows on the menu. Turns out Tuna Tataki is not a poke bowl. When I opened it, very hungry, I found a nearly empty bowl with some sliced of cured tuna and some salad leaves. That was it, nothing else. This was a starter, not a main meal. It cost more than the salmon poke bowl that had loads of rice and amongst other things soy beans, carrots and avocado - what you would expect from a poke bowl. When I phoned them to say there was no rice with my poke bowl, they asked what I ordered. When I said it was the Tuna Tataki they said Tataki doesn't come with rice. I asked why it did not say that on the menu. They didn't really have any answer to that. It felt like I should have known that it doesn't come with rice. They really should not be listing Tataki under poke bowls or make sure they explain that to customers. I had to buy more food elsewhere, making it an expensive meal.

Never fails to amaze. Prompt and courteous service in a small, intimate setting. Always busy but you shouldn’t have to wait too long for a table. Tasty and spicy food with Sapporo on draft and very reasonably priced. I had the chicken Ramen (chilli broth). Yummy.

The fish quality was average. The ramen wasn't anything too special either. Maybe it's just me, I feel like the rolls had too much rice for how much filling was in it. The fried rice was really good though. Food portions were nice and large. There were a few crumbs leftover on the surfaces. The staff were nice. A few tweaks would have to be made before I would want to come back though I might have been too strict about it. Thanks for the food.

Nice and cozy place to get ramen, never really have issues getting a seat although it can be busy around lunch. Staff are friendly and I haven’t had any food that isn’t great yet. I particularly enjoy the salmon ramen.

Food arrived fresh and hot. Full of flavour. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Only thing was the maki rolls (cucumber, salmon):didn't taste the freshest but was still good. Would definitely come here again.

Took myself out for lunch. Sat outside as it was a lovely sunny afternoon. The tables for 2 were already taken so I sat at the bigger table. I ordered the tofu bento box and avocado maki. The miso soup was delicious and the tofu is probably the nicest tofu I've ever tasted. Avocado maki was fresh. Whilst I was mid meal, a staff member asked me to move as a bigger party had come in. I was a little miffed by this but at the same time understanding.

Small Japanese food bar in the city centre. Delicious, authentic food prepared on the site by the Japanese people. Generous portions of deliciously tasting variety of meals. Nice although basic ambience. Sometimes long waiting time. Nevertheless I keep coming back for more
