βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Outstanding Dining Experience at Gamba, Glasgow From the moment we arrived, our hostess was absolutely wonderfulβwarm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our evening special. Her food and wine recommendations were spot on, and it was clear she knew the menu inside out. The dishes themselves were nothing short of extraordinary. Every plate looked and tasted like something you would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. A bit disappointed with the experience and value for money. Food was far from being great for its price and below expectation; not too much care for the plates presentation - monkfish & scallops served wrapped in paper, which the waiter had difficulties removing with his bare hands quite close to the food and visual after opening was far from appealing; sole meuniere was tasty but all the rest OK at most. Waiters were gentle, however another member of staff crossed the hall while we were eating and right next to our table said very out loud a bad word to one of the waiters.

I was given a gift voucher by my workmates for my birthday. They know I love seafood and my friend from work recommends this restaurant and goes regularly. My partner enjoys steak and so we decided on the Wednesday Surf 'n' turf menu. Absolutely excellent. The staff were attentive, conversational and cared about providing good service. Cosy and non pretentious. The food was exceptional. Every single element was cooked to perfection. The meal I had was one of the best I have ever had in any restaurant. They obviously care deeply about the quality of the food they serve. I'm now planning to return very soon for the full seafood experience This place is a gem!

Went in for dinner before the theatre and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and everything was well made and looked fresh. The staff was great and very attentive. It's definitely worth a visit.

Sat 45Β£ menu is 3 course and comes with a glass of wine Bread was cold and not good. Butter no flavour either Their fish soup is really something. Idk why they call it a fish soup when it's really more of a seafood bisque, esp since there's so much crab. Unfortunately there's no prawn dumpling inside? Just a tiny prawn The grey sole texture is ok, but the fish itself is really not too special, so tender as it was, there's no particular flavour. The garlic soy is also not as potent as the Cantonese kind, and the mountain of butter was just greasy. Ginger ice cream in the sticky toffee pudding was good Overall fish soup is very good, the rest is really not worth the price

Loved the food. Really tasty fish soup to start. Sea bream was excellent. Good choice of wines to accompany our meal. Pleasant setting and friendly staff. Keen to get back again soon.

Super fresh ingredients with the chef preparing well dishes. Style could be more polished and refined finish for the pricing. Good champagne and wine section to accompany the dishes. We had drinks before getting seated. It would have been nice to have selection of nibbles to order as having wines with empty stomach is not great. Overall an ok experience.

Another good visit! Always like to stop in for a visit when I am in Glasgow, but had not been here for a while due to the pandemic. Recent repeat visits at other venues had sometimes been disappointing but Gamba did not fail to impress - well done all! Ambiance has not changed. Menu was spot on, prep & presentation excellent, as was the service. If you are after an early meal, the pre theatre menu is particularly good value. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and so happy to have had another delightful repeat visit. As before, highly recommended and look forward to returning.

Lovely quaint, little restaurant, I was there for lunch, very tastey food, which was well presented. I had food off the set menu & glass of house white included in the price. Waiters couldn't do enough, in fact went out of their way to get us gluten free bread rolls as my friend was on special diet. Will definitely be back. Thoroughly delicious food.

The seafood in Scotland is very good but Jamba was over the top great. Friendly and helpful service from the entire staff. One of the better wine lists in Glasgow
