It was alright, nothing too special but not bad either. The food came out quickly and the portions were fair for the price. The chicken doner had good flavour, though it could’ve been a bit juicier. The place was clean but quite busy, so service felt a little rushed. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a quick bite if you’re nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Not impressed! I know my turkish food after living in the turkish ghetto of London for years. I Paid 17.50 for what I thought was an iskender kebab. Basically all I got was a doner kebab with a dollop of tomato sauce and yoghurt. Where was the mushroom, peppers, onions you advertised on the menu? I queried it and was told they didn't serve said veg due to allergies, (so why advertise with veg?) I asked for discount because of this and was then told that actually it the veg was blended with tomato sauce...hmm at least one of those excuses was a lie!. Why not just tell the truth and offer a discount? I'm not a complainer by nature but given that they can't be bothered to give an honest description on the menu, charge twice as much for what is effectively a doner kebab with tomato sauce, then lie to me (twice!!!) I don't mind making the effort to complain publicly. Do yourselves a favour guys, if you want to attract return customers, at least be honest!!!

Marmaris in Edinburgh is absolutely fantastic! Their Marmaris Special for Two is more than enough – the portions are huge and really generous. The food is full of flavour, freshly cooked, and perfect for sharing. Great value for money and a place I’ll definitely keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Worst lamacun ever. Ordered via uber eats. Never got one severd and sliced like this. Garlic and cheese on a lamacun? Why? Will never order again. Cannot recommend

If you're looking for a perfect Turkish restaurant with the best food at your table then this is the place for you. We ordered their lamb sheesh calzone and byeti, such amazing flavours. But the staff was not too friendly, had these rude/uninterested expressions on their faces.

This place truly makes amazing "Adana Kebab" and "Lamb DΓΆner". The lamb dΓΆner is specially made and it is truly delicious. The service is really good and the home made chilli sauce is amazing. The prices are also very reasonable in this economic climate. I would highly recommend this place to dine in or out. There is a high selection of different Turkish food. As said previously, the prices in this economic climate are very reasonable.

Perfect place to have kebab, the meat is great, and definitely worth the money. Students also have 10% discount.

Came here for a quick dinner since I was recommended to drop by for cheap eats. I got the Doner Kebab (at a student price!) and oh boy the portion is big and could be enough for 2 people hahaha. My friends got the chicken kebab and personally I think that tasted better than the lamb one. Their sauces are very good too as we kept going for the sauces over and over. Its really worth the price you're paying for and your get 10% as a student here :)

This is definitely a place worth visiting. The quality is tasty and quantity for the price is ok. We had Marmaris special for 2 which was 24Β£ and came with chutney, salad, bread, and the main dish. Although the meatier items are not as a much, as one would expect for 24Β£ . If there were chips than that would be super. The taste was good. Would have given it 4/5 then. The lahmacun was worth at 4Β£ Certainly worth a visit.

The decor might not look fancy but this is the best place in Edinburgh for a kebab. Make sure to try the Marmaris special as it comes with every type of kebab on a large piece of garlic bread. It was definitely a meal for 4 as 3 of us struggled to finish it. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in Edinburgh.
