Great family run restaurant. We liked it so much that we went back the next night. It's not fine/posh dining like many other restaurants in the area but instead just cozy, rustic warm and authentic. Highly recommend!!

Lovely late dinner with generous portions and the ability to watch the chef cook. I got the lamb and my husband got the grilled Haloumi. We also split the dolmas.

I recently visited this Turkish restaurant. The ambiance was comfortable, with a beautiful design and excellent service. The Tavuk Shish (grilled chicken )was amazing, tender and flavorful. However, the Dolma (stuffed grape leaves )and hummus didn't quite hit the mark. Prices are a bit high, but it's worth it for the good stuff. Try the grilled chicken, and maybe skip the Dolmas and Hummus.

We lived in Adana, Turkey in the early 90’s and were so excited when we stumbled upon this restaurant on our vacation to Scotland. It did not disappoint - our taste buds were transported back in time. Amazing food and drinks! We started with Cacik, hummus, Sigara BΓΆreği. Main dishes Adana lamb platter, chicken shish, and chicken with baba ghanoush. The Efes beer and apple chai, and baklava for dessert were perfect! Thank you so much for the trip down memory lane.

We had a table for 8 people for a lunchtime celebration for a co-workers new job. The restaurant was very empty but not surprising as it was a Tuesday afternoon. The service was very quick and the food was nice. We only had a few soft drinks and a main course each. We spent approx Β£20pp. I am sure this would have a nice vibe on a busy evening. Prices are typical for the area with most main courses between Β£13-Β£18. Worth a visit for lunch.

The chef, Ali, is an incredibly entertaining host with a passion for hospitality! Because of him, our Sunday dinner was transformed into a full on Turkish experience! Everything we tasted was delicious, and the bread that came with the cold appetisers were to die for. I couldn’t tell but my Turkish/Lebanese friend confirmed that the foods were quiet authentic. Thank you for the extraordinary hospitality, and we will be back!

Absolutely brilliant is all I can say. The ambience and decor feel very authentic. We faced the kebab grill window and watched the magic be made before our eyes. Every item ordered made us double take with β€œwow”. Mixed skewers for the table-a must. Kenufe for dessert will leave you feeling euphoric. Best meal of our 2 week trip.

Good Food in Leith Leith always good for food and drinks, if you would like to sit and eat then this place is for you. Quiet place on the main road. Free parking on the road during weekdays. They have a decent drinks menu as well.

My favorite place in Edinburgh! This is the closest to authentic Mediterranean food that you can get in Scotland. Tried lots of places but this tops my list for my Mediterranean food cravings. I have tried couple of their items and love everything! Not a fan of their desserts though.

Dined in there nearly 2 weeks ago. Good food, friendly waitress and exotic environment. Nice background music too. One star is deducted from the 5 full stars because the choice of coffee was very limited - only 2, between Turkish and English coffee. Moreover, the plate was a bit weird or worn out so that it was like a sensitive turntable. Everytime when I cut or took food from the plate, it turned/ moved, which was a bit annoying. Certainly it was not a major problem, but attention to detail must add marks.
